McGregor saved us last night big time .... twice from Tavares at point blank range ..... once from that free kick (can't recall the player's name) and a few other good saves .... man of the match for me and the man who has kept us in Europe so far. Annoyed the way he left us (along with the rest of them) but he is proving to be hard to dislike since his return by keeping the goals relatively safe .... for that he must be praised accordingly. I would rather another proven striker ... but as you say, money is the issue there ... as always ... but if SG wants him and brings him in .... I would hope he does what AM has done and proves it was the right signing for us .... even if he only scored against them and it got us the all important points .... Again only time will tell.

? Yep my personal thoughts aside mate, I would rather we got another proven goalscorer .... I agree that he would be better off putting the tramps to the sword playing for us than hearts as the chances of an upset from them again this season is doubtful. Well said mate good balanced post .... as nice as it is to see the scum getting skelped by others .... for it to be of any real value to us is for us to continue to get stronger and most importantly get the results that will really sink them on the domestic field and hopefully continue our run in the Europa League. ..... fair dues mate .... I admire your optimism as it would be a pretty boring place without differing opinions .... As long as we keep seeing results in our favour that proves that DK is actually walking the walk as far as SG and his first team of players is concerned ...... then I will park (but not forget) my personal feelings concerning DK's misdemeanours .... that is as far as giving him credit that I will go at this time. We are too early in SG's tenure to go overboard with dishing out platitudes to the board .... as promising as it is at the moment ..... caution should be the watchword, as we have all been here to witness the false dawns from previous incumbents. Once we have actually won something will be the time to give credit where it is due .... and the majority of credit should go to SG and his backroom crew .... then the first team .... then the board for doing their job .... not singling out one person for overboard praise. When we do win something (especially 55) ..... it will have been a joint effort from all involved in our Club ..... all facilitated in a large degree from the continuing financial efforts of our support without whom our Club would not be here.

Really like this lad .... his power and skill will do us well this season ..... with players like him we are definitely on the up and up.

Agreed mate ..... the other glaring fact as far as "respect" goes, is that without The Rangers, none of the others who sent us down would be anything other than part timers .... our Club has always been the one capable of generating interest and income in the Scottish game. Good press conference from both men .... regardless of their height ...... Also a good positive outlook and knowledge from his own experience is a big plus that can go a long way in preparing the players what to expect and what is required of them to finish this tie tomorrow. I hope the players do the business and prove to the manager they are capable and deserving of his trust in them .... especially the strikers.
