Where is the money that was withheld as mentioned by previous posters? As we are the same club, as thisd fine proves, we should be receiving the money owed to the club.

Although sutton recognises some of the times when we are on the end of an unfair decision or maybe when something goes against us, he then moves on to talk about something else. However, any negativity against a Rangers player (Forrester in particular) is harped on about to the end of the game. As is a decision that he deems wrong that benefits us (the disallowed "goal" on Sunday). Yeah, he isn't completely biased but he's not far off it.

If he's serious about playing for us again, he should make sure he comes across as serious that he wants to play for us again.

Only get rid of your manager if you can get a better one. That includes what the current manager is in terms of squad management and building and confidence on the park as well as success. We had a great start to last season, due mainly to the enthusiasm of a young squad in following the manager's demands and working as a team. We've had a poor/mixed start to this season for several reasons: being unable to get the CBs that were wanted, Kranjcar being less than match ready, Barton being allowed too important a role in the team (taking free kicks instead of Tav, slowing down play, etc.), playing 2 DMs to shoehorn certain players in, and several injuries (Waggy, Windass, Rossiter, Crooks, Holt). Some of these were unlucky, some the manager's fault in allowing them to happen. MW needs to show that he has learned from certain mistakes, for the sake of squad confidence as well as that of the fans.

If we have 3 upfront then play as a winger and an inside forward. If the balls wide on the left then the right sided attacker must come inside (and vice versa). His full back can cover the wing area for width. At the moment we spend too much time camped around 30 yards out in a semi circle. There must be more penetration with players to get the ball in the box without losing possession.

If you have to wait a few weeks to get the 100th, make sure it's a good one. Done in style.

Tbh I wouldn't take Barton's version of emotive events to be a particularly objective account.

Some bust ups have two or more guilty parties, some only one. Hey, some may be accidental and have no one needing censured. Here, we mere supporters have no evidence to decide and in this we need to trust the club and those in charge.

If Joey is playing to his best, is he ensuring others are doing the same too? Superstar Joey and 10 unhappy teammates is not the answer. He wouldn't let Tav take free kicks where Tav is a specialist and Barton is not. I'd love it if he came back, sorted it out and became a wonderful servant of the club. I want that for all our players but is that realistic here? Not on the evidence so far.

He can continue to train on his own with a (social) media blackout. He'll ask to terminate his contract within 10 days. Then do so with a clause of silence regarding the whole issue. Then any other that thinks they can use our club as a stepping stone will think twice.
