  1. Beasley was shite yesterday, but then again, thats probably the first time he's seen horizontal rain before. He tried to start running & looked like he was joggin on the spot I'm sure he'll come good, lately he has played in temps of 90 degree's, so yesterday would've been one hell of a shock for the lad haha
  2. why the fuck would mcculloch get a first team game at centre half ? i've read reserve reviews of him playing there & saw us getting beaten 4-3 by motherwell at murray park. He's not adapted to c/h yet, so no, he'll not play against accies in the cup. I'd rather see Mo Edu get a game there alongside Magic
  3. no he won't stick with them, because "it's a long hard season", and we have to be able to choose different players for different occasions
  4. Why are you referring to us as "you lot" ? :unionflag: cos there's more than 1 person laughin at the post. 1 person = you more than 1 = you lot :unionflag:
  5. i had a look at them in jjb today, the red third top looked like it'd been sewn together in the back of the shop - no danger am i getting that one. i loved the look of the white away top, until i saw it up close today. dunno why the bottom half of it has to have a minging wavy pattern n it. if it had been left as pure white, no attached squiggles, would've got it lol
  6. christ, you lot are scraping the very bottom of the barrell with this one. a goal famine or goal drought has got f*** all to do with the famine song. hang on a min though - radiohead sang bangers & mash - ahhh , they must be irish too & ready to go home to find some tatties
  7. definate words of sense boydy needs to get his finger out his arse & contribute to the team as a footballer - otherwise, we're playing with 10 men every time he plays. combined with the fact that he never looks like winning a header & is poor at linking play.
  8. keep him. with the likes of lafferty, naismith, fleck et all. we have somecracking young talent in the squad
  9. he's no on £13k a week is he ? get him to fuck !!
  10. fletcher & riordan (hibs) then either berra (hearts) or barr (falkirk)
  11. What you see, is all you'lll ever get from Boyd, unfortunately. He smashed the post with a great effort on sunday
  12. He'd score a bucketload in the SPL, hope he doesn't go to the dark side
  13. i'm the same as a lot of you guys villareal, fiorentina, manchester, losing 10 in a row, lovenkrands winner v septic in cup final, the one i remember most though was in munich - it wasn't as important as the other times, but i was gutted. I thought we played Bayern off the park that night, battered them & hit the woodwork a couple of times.. but lost the game 1-0. Maybe i watched it thru blue tinted glasses, i dunno. I was heading back to the pub after our game and a bayern fan stopped me & asked to swap scarves with his son, i thought about turning away, but i swapped scarves and still have the bayern one in the house. Had a few tears roll down the cheek when that happened - why ? lol.
  14. well said that man, totally agree with everything you've said there. Well done to Kenny Miller for playing so well lately, because if it wasn't for his work rate & contribution - we wouldn't have scored the two goals that we did against motherwell. and to repeat another point made above - i'll shout at him if he play's pish too. He's playing well for us though guys :)
  15. he's playing regular for clyde now, setup one of their goals either at the weekend there, or the weekend before
  16. I was in in Olympic Stadium that night. German Khunt !
  17. Lennon can't play against us. I don't have the link to confiorm this, but it was on the web, an agreement between Rangers & Thistle.
  18. nah, i'd rather shag the fuck out of his "facebook" pal Clara T. Douglas
  19. such a fine line between being a shaky keeper & a confident one. mcgregor saved us at falkirk with his penalty save, and i'm sure he made a couple of excellant saves against celtic. but he costs us a goal against killie, and a few weeks ago in pre-season, he didn't seem himself. Iagree with a lot of you guys, he's recently signed a 5 year deal, and shouldn't become complacent....so a few games on the bench won't hurt him it's good to know we have a manager, that will make these types of decisions....lets just hope he doesn't bring mcculloch or dailly into the side again.
  20. pay as you play is the right idea for the prick cos that's the only way he'll perform. he started to play very well just prior to signing his last contract
  21. god, knowing watty - aaron will cover left back lol
  22. tough ain ! the only way he'll become a better footballer is by playing regularly. then again, if he had started v celtic - i doubt the result would have been as comprehensive
  23. fergie will have to adapt to left or right mid when he comes back haha. it's a lovely problem to have isn't it ? :) seriously, a midfield with the choices of mendes, thommo, beasley, davis, ferguson, edu , whittaker, novo, lafferty, aaron and others. quality !!
