I was speaking to a Dundee Utd fan and he was saying that he would love it if Webster would stay. Aparently he has been a class above anyone at the back for United this season. I personally think he could be useful for us providing he stays fit next season will be his time to shine and its up to him to grab that.

TBH the players we have cleared out needed to go anyway the phrase "deadwood" suited them down to a tee. The only issue i have is that our squad is so thin with 2 or 3 injurys we are down to bare bones. But it shows that it was the right thing to do clearing our these players League cup won and the Title within grasp now. I do believe that we will need to bring in some new faces this summer though if the likes of Boyd, Novo, Smith and Beasley go not to mention Boogie. So in a nut shell i think alot of what we have been told about the debt is scaremongering to stop us complaining due to lack of new faces

I have to say Weir has been a fantastic player even for his age for us but 1 more season will just be a mile to far. He should just call it a day with us at the end of this season. Its time for us to look at the future in terms of who will take us forward. I really dont fancy Weir in the CL next season as he was caught out big time this season.
