Don’t doubt he’s making an effort. I’m not criticising him at all this new role we’re asking him to play just doesn’t work for him. He was thriving last season and we’ve changed the system to accommodate other players and it’s nullified Cantwell imo.

We were warned when he signed he doesn’t turn up for big games. Nowhere near the player he, or his wee fan boys on twitter, seem to think he is.

It’s a fuck up with the manner of it. Weak defending to let them equalise last week and then this shambles of a performance tonight and him refusing to make a change until it’s too late. Even then he’s still left probably our worst player on the park.

His shorts are sitting a bit high which makes it tougher to call. I thought it was a poor call last night because I’d just always seen a low blow as a punch to the balls I didn’t realise it was anything below the navel and I think that definitely is.
Agree Usyk was at it though. A bit of gamesmanship making it seem worse to give himself a breather.

It’s good that we have options up front and can leave a 6m? signing on the bench. I’m sure Beale said we never paid that much for him anyway.
Probably just concerned that we’ve neglected other areas that need strengthened and spent most of our budget on 3 new strikers only for Beale to tell us he sees Roofe in his strongest 11 anyway.
