Morelos is still without a club midway through August when even Filip fucking Helander has had offers.

Started well and looked like we were going to blow them away. The Lammers miss and them getting back into it with their penalty killed our momentum and it was back to the same turgid shite after that. Either struggling to put a decent move together or completely overplaying it to the point it looked like we were scared to shoot.
The new attackers will come good though. They just need time to get used each other as well as settling into the club.

Dessers has been pish for a while and should never have been signed.
As for the manager , the guy was absolutely clueless almost all last season , why would he change now hes brought in his own players ? If he loses the taig game he should be dealt with straight after it , not left to destroy the whole season once again and is then sacked.
I thought Dessers would have been decent for us tbh based on him doing a decent job at Feyenoord. Hard to judge him at the Italian mob when they were getting pumped most weeks and he’s feeding off scraps.
He’s looked completely lost for us so far though.

Alarm bells were ringing after we finished the Hoffenheim friendly with a makeshift defence and he said afterwards we have to prepare for that possibility during the season.
Wouldn’t be a possibility if he addressed the defence instead of blowing the full budget on our new attacking players who look like they’ve never seen a ball before.

I was slaughtering him for missing that one myself until I realised the keeper gets a touch on it before it hits the post. He needs to improve for sure but he’s got a couple of goals already and his link up play has been decent. We’re too quick to write players off.
Morelos had only scored twice at this stage of his first season with us. He turned out no bad.
