Probably already mentioned on here, but I would imagine that I am not the only one whose enjoyment of yesterdays game is being enhanced by reading and hearing all the claims from Them that they did not really care about yesterdays game. This despite spending the week prior telling us how much they were looking forward to destroying us, putting us in our place, record points total and so on. We even had him of the dodgy moustache sitting in that Republican rat hole in the Gorbals telling us how much they were looking forward to silencing Ibrox.
Of course in the grand scheme of things it was all a bit too little, too late, but the nature of the victory is a huge morale boost for those players who will still be in the squad next year, the air of invincibility building around that Mhob has been shattered, the smug, arrogant smiles have been wiped off their faces, to be replaced by delighted grins on the Bears coupons this morning.
Something to smile about after another clusterfuck of a season, just hope that yesterdays good work is a portent of things to come and not, as is being claimed by Them, a result of their players downing tools.

Fair enough, still going to be interesting though to see how Beale handles the situation, or if the Club decides to go down the Director of Football route. Personally I would prefer Beale to have the first and last say on incoming players, after all he is the one who has to use them to play the game he wants to play. Maybe an old fashioned way of doing things, but it worked in the past, no reason it cannot work again, especially if, as we hope, Beale does have the skills to identify the talent that we realistically can look to bring to Ibrox.

In a nutshell. We have to assume that Cantwell & Raskin were Beale signings and hope that this demonstrates that MB has an eye for a player. Given the millions we have wasted over the years on utter flops, literally too many to list here, getting the recruitment right in the respect of immediately improving the squad, but also with an eye to bringing in funds down the line, is obviously priority 1.
The pressure on MB to get things right over the summer is enormous, and for all the benefits, the privilege and honour of being Rangers FC manager, I really do not envy him the task that lies ahead.

    They are below us. Scum.

My wee dug could win the Scottish League with the budget that lucky old gravy veins has had at his disposal. Well covered ground of course, but absolutely no one is surprised when his team is found out in Europe.
At a push he might get a gig in the Championship, where no European participation is required.

That was kind of what I was poorly attempting to get at, not expecting todays level of performance and commitment every week, of course not, but most weeks with a good display, the occasional fantastic, with of course the occasional day when he is just not at it, as is the case with every player.

He was at least a 9.5 / 10 today. No player not Messi or Haaland or Mbappe can perform at that level every week. I'd be more than happy if we got 8 / 10's from him most games with the occasional game above that.

Not liking Filth is always helpful if you are looking to have a successful stint at The Famous. TC was excellent today, was a joy to watch and deserves all the praise going.
However. A little bit of, understandable, getting carried away a wee bit about his performance today, although God knows, we needed that morale boost going into the summer break. If TC can produce that level of performance most weeks, and if Beale can bring in several much needed reinforcements of the required level, then things can only get better.
Again, however, as we all know, if is the biggest small word in the language, and unfortunately, we face the reality of yet another rebuild job in the summer, something we simply cannot keep doing year after year. We have to put a squad together that will be good for several seasons and bring some much needed stability, and silverware back to the Club.
Beale earned himself some credibility and time today, here is hoping he uses his rewards for today wisely in the coming months.
