At least we showed some fight.
Another comedy moment in defense cost us the game.

Genuine question- if we are nine points adrift next Christmas, does he get the winter window to try to change things? Or do we just settle for 2nd place until things get better?
That's a rather pessimistic view but a valid one. Only time will tell.

But that’s still the exact same as what you said.
More or less but it's my opinion and I stick by it.

Fucking hell man, beyond criticism
What I meant was that he should not be criticised until he has had time to show what he can do. For me that's a year from now.
-
Beale is a rookie manager but for me beyond criticism until this time next year.
He walked into a shambles and has to be given another couple of windows to bring in his own players. Then we can judge.
-
I have hope but no optimism about the outcome of this game.
We have to be right in their faces for 90 mins and press them all over the park. It's a one off cup game so we have a chance.

Folk say this but that is what you're going to pay for a 20yr old prospect with a handful of caps already for the 10th ranked team in the world.
He isn't over priced.
I am not saying that he is overpriced but 5M is a hefty chunk of this summers budget. If Bayern will take 1.25M a year over 4 years then it's a whole different story.
-
Cantwell, Raskin, Lawrence, Tillman gives us the basis of a decent midfield. It's the price tag for Tillman that weighs heavy.

If we win on Sunday then I might be able to pick somebody but if we lose then forget it.

Hate the ‘will be like a new signing’ chat, but Lawrence actually will.
Think we’ll try and move Hagi on. Looks absolutely done.
No reasonable offer for Hagi will be refused. I just doubt that we will get one this summer.
-
If Lawrence and Hagi have a good pre season then that's 2 decent additions to the squad at no extra cost.
I don't think that Davies is going to make it with us so another central defender will be required. Plus a keeper. A solid defense is a must for next season.
I hope that both Kent and Morelos leave this summer which is where the bulk of the budget will go. Goalscorers are never cheap and we need two.
-
Bisgrove has increased money coming into the club. That's fact.
Was he wrong with the Aussie offer? Yes but he was duty bound to take it to the board for their consideration.
Clearly an ambitious chap and it may have been a case of promote or lose. Time will tell if he makes a good CEO.

Nobody can dispute that we need a new goalkeeper. Don't know anything about Butland but I would be wary of spending a large sum on him. It was only a few years ago that scum spent 5M on a Greek goalkeeper who was totally useless.
We have to be sensible with our spending.
-
This the 3rd time he has been convicted of such offenses yet only gets 3 years. I find it hard to fathom what was going on in the judges mind when he passed such a lenient sentence.

0-0 away to sheep at is not a disaster at HT. Time to turn this around.
-
No real surprises with the starting XI.
If sheep have a real go we will probably hump them but our habit of making childish defensive errors makes me go for a one goal win. 2-1 or 3-2 to us.

My attitude will probably change come Sunday but right now I could not care less about this game. In fact I would probably play kids and make sure that we have no more injuries to first picks before the semi. The game that matters.

Just because Beale managed him at QPR is no good reason to suggest that he wants him at Ibrox.
We need someone of greater quality.

Doubt there’s many players playing for either side who we could even afford.
Probably Roma players would be out of our price range but we might be able to get a Dutch player. Can't see any other reason for Beale to be in Rome today.
-
Beale is doubtless in Italy to take in todays game between Roma and Feyenoord. There must be somebody in one of those teams that he is personally looking over. No idea who.

They weren’t fortunate at all, I don’t get why people think that.
In the lead with a couple of minutes to go might suggest why. Took another defensive blunder (to which we are prone) to level things up.

Barring Kent and Morelos I thought the rest of the squad tried their best and I would give pass marks to if only for their fight and effort.
Let's see what happens in the summer as this season is well and truly over.
