I like Hagi but 3M will be accepted by the club (if there is anything in the rumour).
Major rebuild this summer but it has to be the for the last time. Got to get back to 2 or 3 out and 2 or 3 in each year.
-
It's in Europe that I expect to see the best of him. If he wants to stay then its down to the board to find the cash to settle up with Bayern and a 5M fee does not strike me as unreasonable.
I hope that he is still with us next season.

Both Kent and Morelos have run their race and ought to be moved on. My fear is that they are planning on doing a 'Goldson' and resigning in the summer if nothing better turns up.
As part of the refresh/rebuild they both have to go.

I won't give up on Matondo just yet. Could be a decent player there.
Cantwell and Raskin both look more than decent and that increases my confidence in Beale as a manager who knows a player when he sees one.
3 points and 5 goals so I cant complain but I will anyway. Defense remains a joke.
-
Dominant in that half but go in all square. Story of the season.
-
Will be firing up RTV for this close to kick off but with little enthusiasm.
A hard slog and a 2-0 victory is what I expect to see.
-
No problem with the board approaching him. No problem with him saying not interested.
But when he putts the phone down and then leaks it to the press. That I have a problem with. Looks to me that we dodged a bullet here.
-
Beale, in yesterdays presser, said the the targets for next season have already been identified and that the work there is done. I would argue that we do need to replace Wilson but there is no rush to do so.
-
If it's a loan with the option to buy then I am onboard.
-
6 or 7 replacements would probably cost us north of 20M. I have no idea what the summer budget will be but I am sure it won't cover that kind of sum.
I am prepared for some good news and some disappointment before next season kicks off.

From what he is saying, and his actions - I can only conclude that Dave King is talking utter shite.
There is not a chance he'd not accept an offer that puts such a value on not only the club, but his shares.
He's fucking lying.
Have to agree as I see little to no chance of King turning that kind of offer down. However I still hold him in some affection and regard him as the last true leader that we had.

At the time of Wilson's appointment it was seen as a positive move by the club. Putting in place the correct management structure to take us forward.
Wilson may not have been the best man for the job but that's just hindsight. I would not scrap the role.
-
Surely the job of a DoF is to take some of the weight off the managers shoulders and negotiate transfer fees, players wages etc etc. Leaving the manager more time to concentrate on how the side performs on the park.
Mine may well be a rather simplistic view but I don't believe that it is far off the mark. If Forest want Wilson they can have him. He won't be impossible to replace.

I am happy with what I have seen of Cantwell thus far. But like Raskin it's next season before either can be properly judged.

Our EL run probably doesn't happen without him and look at the money that brought in.
Maybe and maybe not but I have reached the point where I feel that cutting our losses on him is the best way forward.

I am not a bean counter but a cursory glance at the report shows income up and losses well down. Sounds like progress to me.
We have people with a solid business background running the club which has not always been the case in recent times. If they are content with the numbers then so am I. Almost certainly safe to ignore some social media ramblings.

Were we, as a board, to come out with a statement that we will no longer accept Clancy as a ref then we are on a slippery slope. Who's next...Beaton ??
I would argue that tackling the problem at it's source which is the SFA is the way forward. An end to 'well intentioned amateurs' and a clear demand for professional refs will win us some support from other clubs.

If the Alfredo incident had happened at the other end of the pitch then the goal stands and quite rightly.
Clancy just could not stand the thought of us being 1 up after 20 minutes or so. End of story.

Well that's it. I now draw a line under this terrible season. Be back in the summer.

No Goldson and no Sakala. It is what it is and I shall get behind the players selected but my confidence has been dented.
-
Until the team is officially announced I have chosen to believe that the Goldspn rumour is just that. A non story.

Sakala is Sakala. You just never know what is coming next. But he will frighten them.
Kent mugging somebody in midfield and running straight towards their goal will have them terrified.
scum defense is poor and a high press will have them panicking.

Tav scores many more than he misses from the spot. Don't know his stats but as I recall Borna is another I would have confidence in should he be asked to take one.
Penalty taking has never been Alfredo's thing.
To get back on topic there is little of a gap. scum were fortunate to get a point at New Year and in the last fixture a bizarre decision by Clancy changed the whole complexion of the game. Gives me hope for the upcoming semi.
