It was always the case that after we lost to them we would most likely have to beat them in both remaining games. Yes we have to keep winning against the others, but if we lose against them at Ibrox I think it’s done. Win that game, then as you say we could continue with some confidence.

They should have worn white, because so far we have literally surrendered.

We should play them when required to do so in the league or when drawn against them in the cup. But, we certainly don’t need to be organising friendliest against them. The club are obviously being rewarded financially for doing so, but sometimes a point of principle is more valuable than a few grubby quid in your pocket.

Fair comment. They had to improve as they were honking last season. But, we shouldn’t forget that in the 2 games before us, Hearts would have taken 2 points of them if the post hadn’t knocked the penalty to safely and likewise D Utd were seconds from doing likewise. My point being, let’s not pretend they are some unbeatable force. We will find out over the next 14 games if my optimism stands up.

The fact we are even comparing their recruitment to ours disappoints me. Yes they battered us in a single game, where we sat off them, but are we seriously saying they have signed, or have better players than us because of that game? They may be on a par with us but are certainly not the finished article.

I hope not. It was being cautious that got us battered on Wednesday.

But, nobody was really too fussed about that until we dropped points in the last couple of games and got humped last night. We’re all Rangers fans but I really hope that a lot of the doom mongers on here talking about the team being serial losers are eating humble pie at the end of the season. This bunch of “serial losers” won the league last year. We shouldn’t write them off yet.
