I’m not taking sides mate. Each to their own. But personally I think everyone is responsible for their own actions. As much as we are angry at them for not respecting the silence, I don’t think that doing the same thing helps anyone.

Absolutely. If that truly is our model then we should sell when offers arrive. As you say, it’s easy to say with hindsight but had we followed the model then he is gone.

Sands is definitely a no from my side, and that’s not taking any account of his performance today. He is just a bang average player, and really doesn’t offer much in any area of the game. Tillman is worth a punt, and has shown potential already, and will hopefully progress.

We saw his peak many months ago. Should have been sold when his stock was high. He should be on his way when his contract is up.

He’s probably turned up in 25% of those 200 games. Let’s hope for better things between now and the end of the season.

I always enjoy winning. But we were dog shit for the most part. No hiding away from it.

It’s more about motivating the non-hackers we already have in our squad, rather than bringing in multiple new players. He will have some cash in Jan I suspect, but I doubt it will be a huge budget. Whoever takes the job will be in the same position.

I doubt anyone knows anything of significance to be honest. I include the media in that as well.

I can’t see him getting sacked mate. As much as I think we need a change, I just don’t see it happening any time soon. The cost of doing so would probably be a large factor from the board’s perspective I expect. We seem destined to mediocrity for some time to come.

I can’t be bothered looking it up but I wonder how many times we’ve achieved that under GVB. Given that this is his mantra, it’s quite shocking how bad we are at actually doing it. You would think that he may have noticed we’re actually crap at defending along the way. But I’m not entirely sure that’s the case.

I didn’t believe we would mate. That’s the difference between us and them this season. Too many times we are chasing results. They always seem able to pull something out the bag. Drastic changes required over the next 5 weeks, and even if things do improve, it’s still likely that the league is already done.

I know that’s probably a tongue in cheek comment. But I hope that the board base their decision on what is happening under GVB and not that bizarrely we may actually end the day a point closer to them than we started. I doubt that either of those will happen though.

He has some done good work, and has talent. As you say, get better quality around him and he could develop into a strong player for us. One of the few at the moment who can actually provide something a little different.
