  1. Not seen any mention of the fact that Scott Wright was utter gash once again. Was only when he got injured that I remembered he was playing. 3rd rate bench fodder at the very best
  2. Immense speed and seems to be improving each game. My man of the match today.
  3. Was checking something else and discovered that Beale has had the greatest win % rate of any Rangers permanent manager ever apart from McCoist in the lower leagues. Very surprised by that https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Rangers_F.C._managers
  4. Warburton and Gerrard both won us a league. Gerrard got us to a Euro final - not exactly failure, is it?
  5. Tav now playing for his sixth permanent Rangers manager as captain. Obviously well thought of by much more knowledgable people than any of us?
  6. Sent in blocks to avoid partially filled areas. Makes sense
  7. Ibrox 1967, when communication wasn't as great as it is now.
  8. I can tell you when the door finally closed never to be opened - Sep 2014 was the Once in a Lifetime referendum. Salmond pitched friend against friend and brother against brother. The saltire was hijacked forever by the yes campaign and the Union flag was depicted as right wing, bigoted, extremist and akin to being a National Front flag by the SNP. There were divisions before then, but that was the day that Scottish football's own Berlin wall finally went up. Rangers players got booed by the tartan army, and the divide enhanced.
  9. We've signed 10 outfield players this year. Is somebody really telling me that none of them can take a free kick or a corner and it has to be Tav 9 times out of 10?
  10. So how come you are still on here then? Attention seeking shite!
  11. The heading on this thread is bollocks. Nowhere does it say that they terminated the contract because of Rangers. They terminated "following" the Rangers dispute, not because of it. Friday "follows" Thursday, but has nothing to do with Thursday.
  12. We fly out to Cyprus in 48hrs - unlikely it was going to be anyone outside the club. I don't think for one minute this would have been Steven Davis's idea.
  13. Wright received a yellow, but persisted in giving the ref verbal - Tav and Goldson just stood back and watched beside him. A decent captain and vice captain would have hauled him away, not these two haufwits.
  14. One thing I've noticed him doing more than once is blaming his own team mates. Yes keepers can shout at everyone in general, but outfield players having a go at individuals is unprofessional. Sort it out in the dressing room in private.
  15. You're holding Kaiser Franz up as a shining example for what actually? He's a corrupt cunt who lines his own pockets. In June 2014, Beckenbauer was banned by FIFA Ethics Committee for 90 days from any football-related activity for allegedly refusing to cooperate with an inquiry into corruption dealing with the allocation of the 2018 and 2022 World Cups to Russia and Qatar.[19] He protested the ban, as he had requested the questions that were put to him be in German and in writing. The ban was lifted after Beckenbauer agreed to participate in FIFA's inquiry. In February 2016, Beckenbauer was fined CHF 7,000 and warned by FIFA Ethics Committee for failing to cooperate with the inquiry in 2014. In March 2016, the Ethics Committee opened formal proceedings against Beckenbauer regarding the awarding of the 2006 FIFA World Cup to Germany. In October 2019, Black Mirror Leaks published email correspondence of Russian member of Parliament, Sergey Kapkov, where Beckenbauer and his adviser, Fedor Radmann, were named as recipients of €3 million for their votes in favour of Russia as host of the 2018 World Cup. Both allegedly received an additional €1.5 million in success fees after the 2018 cup was allocated to Russia.
  16. James Bowie never saw an all seated stadium. Alan Morton never flew abroad with the team in an Aeroplane. Willie Waddell never knew what pay per view tv was. The club that these fantastic guys worked for has vastly changed into a major international business with worldwide income. In 2023 we need proven business leaders with a track record of success behind them. There is a place for sentimentality in corporate lounges and fan interfaces, but we need experienced managers and directors to manage and direct.
  17. It could be worse......... We could have kept Brandon fucking Barker 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
  18. If that fat cunt got any chubbier, he'd struggle to get through the double front doors at the stadium
  19. Redcand black scarves (thankfully not many around now) or anything from Lion brand!
  20. The prospect of an 8pm midweek kick off in howling winds and very heavy pishing rain with the possibility of extra time and penalties watching dross v dross......... Am absolutely salivating waiting for this one 🙂🙂🙂
  21. We had somebody like this a long while ago (can't remember who?) and they were on a token contract of something daft like £1 a week for this very reason.
