We had somebody like this a long while ago (can't remember who?) and they were on a token contract of something daft like £1 a week for this very reason.

I’m a wee bit embarrassed

I don't agree. This manager signed 11 of our squad - 9 of these only a matter of weeks ago. They have no loyalty to anyone else apart from him. I think you're crediting average footballers with an awful lot of intelligence? -
Steven Davis is 38, out of contract, still listed as a player on our website, been injured since last Dec, had a full ACL operation, last press I could find said he had another knee op about a month ago. NI manager doesn't expect him to be fit at all this year. A fit Davis would have helped us greatly today, but given all of the above, I think it's unlikely he'll play for Rangers competitively again? Has anyone come across any further updates? Has he taken on any coaching role with us?

Today was a brutal watch, especially the last 30 mins. We didn't just dodge a bullet, but several. Apart from one poor chuck out, Butland was superb - should have been motm. Thought the ref was very kind to us, another would have called many more fouls. Like everyone else, am baffled by our substitutions. More than anything else, today showed how much we are missing Cantwell. -
Morton publish profits from Ibrox trip
East Enclosure Row N replied to East Enclosure Row N's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
In season 2012-13, Rangers played 2 away games at Hampden with crowds of 50k in total. With an average home gate at the time of around 250, we provided the same income in two league games that QP would have received in TEN YEARS agaonst their usual opposition. We broke recent attendance records at clubs ip and down the country week in, week out for those years and provided huge financial boosts everywhere we went. Tosspot. -
The Michael Beale Thread.
East Enclosure Row N replied to DavieMacRFC's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
Getting rid of Michael Beale now would be a complete knee jerk reaction and totally irrational. We are not champions League standard no matter who the manager is and bad refereeing cost us a draw at the weekend. Majority of our new players haven't started more than 1 or 2 competitive games. Hibs are now struggling to get any names to come to Easter Rd because they have gone through 6 managers in 5 years. We'd be heading towards a similar reputation if we did this -
Morton have told their fans that they made £235,000 from their recent cup visit to ibrox. Cup profits get split 50/50 but this is from gate receipts only. Hospitality and catering profits, car park fees etc are ours. Figures break down very roughly like this - (but there are lots of variables). Ticket prices were £21/£15/£9 Reported crowd on Sky was 38,943 but many more will have bought tickets and not attended. If we average a ticket price of £18 and take the crowd of 38,943 - that gives a gross gate income of £700,974. Morton received £235,000 and same to Rangers leaves operating costs for the game of around £231,000 I believe any TV fees get paid straight from the league at the end of the cup. Morton say this one game allowed them to bring in three new players. Good to see the wee clubs getting a payday now and then. I think they brought around 1,700 fans?

Mixed emotions today...... Champions league - money is great, but do I want to sit through another 6 humiliating gubbings? Nope! You can't bed in new players or show your best team off whilst getting a cunt of a thrashing Europa league - less dosh, but we can be competitive. We can look forward to games instead of dreading them. We can show players off to their best abilities. Bottom line - money, or have a chance of winning games? It's the latter for me.

Material and normal stitching are soft, but stitching around gps units is hard nylon, like thick fishing line. Often comes undone at this stitching and is as rough as shit!
-
Maybe just irritating him? Hard nylon stitching sometimes goes. Fuck that rubbing against you

You must be some shape? For most of us, our legs stick out the front when seated. Are yours at 90° either side then? 🤣🤣🤣 -

Glasgow subway is closed for test runs of new trains all day Sunday 20th August. -
Barisic has played over 200 competitive games for Rangers and now entering his sixth season - almost all of them at left back. How many full competitive games has Yilmaz played for us in that position, and you are judging him already? Friendlies mean absolutely hee-haw, especially for defenders. No defender is going to play at 100% full pelt in a friendly. If we win 5-0 or lose 5-0, a friendly means absolutely nothing.

Best Rangers bet you have won
East Enclosure Row N replied to Drunk and disorderly.'s topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
Used to win a few bob when we were in the lower leagues. One game (canny remember who against), Nicky Clark was 4/1 to score first goal, and he got a hat trick in the 1st half. Noticed on the coupon that he was same odds to score 1st goal in 2nd half. Bookies was still open at half time, so I nipped down and put £20 on him. He scored again just a few minutes after kick off and I was a happy bunny 🙂🇬🇧🇬🇧 -

I tidied that up for you 🙂 -
Thete are lots of variables here: Maybe Bayern need him for their squad? Maybe he didn't want to stay at Rangers? Maybe we weren't meeting their value? Maybe they have a better offer? Maybe christ knows what? Whatever happens - we'll earn a few bob. Good luck and thanks for your service 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
