Dont know about that, the German's young team will have all matured and with a lot of players possibly earning themselves big moves after this summer, they will have more top level experience. Reckon they will be a dominating force in World football for a few years to come.

Not been impressed by the Spanish so far in the tournament, reckon Germany will ease themselves into the final tonight. Would be a cracking final though as Germany v Holland has to be the biggest rivalry in Europe. Not sure if the Germans will win the whole thing but when you look at how young the squad is, how good are they going to be at the next Euro's and WC?

Would like to see Klose get it as he's so close to the all-time WC goalscoring record and his career is likely to go into free-fall after the summer. Really cant see Spain getting a result against the Germans, they have really struggled against well organised defences e.g Switzerland,Paraguay. Germany have the firepower up front to punish them badly as well. Villa if he's lucky may get one next game but Klose will have an extra game to up his tally.

Great team????? England have the potential to be a great team when you see the players at their disposal and the same could be said for countless squads prior to this. Shame they never seem to live up to that potential on the pitch. With Spain having finally won a major tournament recently England have now taken the title of biggest international underachievers.

Wont be supporting England, but wont be cheering on everyone they play either, couldn't care less if they win or not. Though cant understand people on here getting all worked up about people either supporting England or desperate to see them get pumped. Its up to them and doesn't make them any more/less of a bear whatever there view is. Only people I'd say were out of order is if we had any English members who weren't supporting their national team, but I'd be shocked if that was the case.

Total old man pubs but 'The Clutha' on Clyde street and the bar round the corner(forgot its name) share a beer garden/smoking area between them. Other places are probably far nicer but its the only one I can think of off the top of my head with a few outdoor plasma screens for football.

Mitre usually make the best footballs!!!! But reckon they should stop fucking about with the World cup balls to make them move more in the air. Thinking behind it is that it will create more goals to make the tournament more exciting, what they forget is for every screamer like the one in the video above there will be a few going off to the corner flag from shots that would normally have been on target with a proper ball.

The BBC, IMO, should put a Scottish commentator on the England games. Would save hassle and let people concentrate on the football. Lets have English commentators on Scottish games as well, boy it'll be fun! Surely that would just be frustrating for you as an "Ingerlunder" living in Scotland, you'd get our anti-english commentators for your games and miss out on your lot ripping us to shreds for our games!

Thats why I have no earthly fucking idea why he is on that plane, even if he does compliment Rooney. Only possible explanation I could give is he's there to give tactical options. May not score but when finesse isn't working he could be used as an offensive battering ram to bulldoze his way through a defence to give Rooney a clearer strike. Still agree with you that he should be nowhere near the squad though.

Depends for me, if they're playing shite uninspiring football then I'll agree with you. But if they are playing to their potential(unlikely), I'm happy to see them go through and do well.

He told us this was the top.. Has a nice blue glow to it. Despite the fact this has got to be one of the the worst fake attempts I've seen, I do quite like it(if it was to be done properly). Certainly an improvement on the red and white striped one that's been touted. And that's even with the blue glow!

Agree with that. Robinson was vilified by the English press because of an error caused by bobble on the pitch. No wonder the poor guy's form dipped with a whole nation venting their hate at him. Hart for the WC no.1 spot with Robinson or Green as back-up for the England squad.

i dont want technology in football, it takes the fun out of the pub arguments/discussions if every decisions was correct in a game, we'd have heehaw to moan about at times Are you having a laugh????? You underestimate how inept our refs actually are, sure they'd still find a way to fuck up big decisions!!!

Possibly just jumping on the bandwagon here, but after seeing Joe Hart suggested, I cant disagree. He's certainly got the potential to be Britain's top keeper in the next couple of seasons if he's not there already. However cant say there is one outstanding candidate for this title at the moment who is way ahead of the rest.
