  1. Yes Warburton apparently... He said as much in the press conference yesterday.
  2. I've suspected for a while that skills had been banned from Scottish football and this has confirmed it. Thankfully we have wonderful administration in the (rather large) shapes of Regan and Doncaster who can fix it. They are expensive, but they are worth it. Warburton must must be wondering what kind of moonshine-drinking hillbilly state he has wandered into. Welcome to Scottish football Mark. I hope your magic hat doubles as a safety helmet mate.
  3. Whats the latest on the Fir Park riot and assault on McCulloch?....
  4. Remember Huistra doing it on the run in a Cup game at Ibrox.. fantastic to see. We pay a lot of money to watch, at times, a very mediocre product, so it's disappointing to read the full-back make threats like he has in the papers today. Just in case anyone at the SFA gives a toss, this is one of the reasons why crowds are down at all clubs except those with managers with magic hats in their wardrobe.
  5. Too right. Already 6 goals ahead as well. They appear to have same problem as last year, all very neat and tidy in midfield but impotent up front. Oh well feck em.
  6. Loving the football, interesting the way Lennon retreated 2nd half to 8 or 9 men back. Peter Houston commented that he should have played that way from kick-off... Its obvious we are going to face a lot of scared, defensive sides this season and we need to plan accordingly. How old is big Jorg Albertz?.. Is there a young Jorg?
  7. Feck!.. my stream has switched to Arsenal... Not quite so good technically
  8. Alloa set up more defensive 2nd half... Sensible, could have got ugly as they start to tire.. Still might
  9. Thanks OP, good read. Wide men can be inconsistent so increased competition has got to be good. Plus with the high tempo game we now play I expect the subs to be used most games for midfield and forward positions when possible.
  10. McEwans Lager... Tasted way too much like rat piss to be a coincidence
  11. Wow amazing that so many Murrays have graced our great club. If I had to pick a favourite though I'd go for Ruby.
  12. Jamie Murray. Although to be fair he was always gonna be compared with his more successful brother.
  13. Right, my original intent was cos Killie didn't vote against us, but it's a very happy coincidence that they offer such tasty snacks.
  14. The one thing I will say for those rhancid baskets is they do good PR. Kings response should not be to try to outbid them but to outflank them with a strong positive message of our own in the next few days. Get this shit off the back pages.
  15. I would have liked him to join Rangers mainly because I feel we are going places and I would enjoy that journey even more watching 2young Rangers supporters at the heart of our midfield. However if he doesn't join fair enough, doesn't really change a thing.
  16. Boycotts are a decision for the individual. Ive paid to get into Breeze block Boulevard to support my team, so if I am giving them my cash and they are pretty much the lowest form of life, then I wouldn't boycott any stadium. I wouldn't buy any half time grub of course, and given the events of the past 3years I would extend that to every ground with the possible exception of Kilmarnock. I also wouldn't buy any Rangers merchandise under the deal the spivs gave Ashley. Not trying to influence anyone, just do what feels right.
  17. Disappointing to see both Ferguson brothers taking the DR shilling to condone the move. Proves that even after their boots have been hung up there is no such thing as loyalty among professional footballers.
  18. While no guarantee can be given we will have at the very least, assured Spurs that these guys will be given realistic opportunities to play first team football.
  19. I find it extremely difficult to believe that Sir David of Weir is spending so much time on the training ground and not covering set pieces. He even used to coach fellow defenders on set pieces during games FFS! Anyway, all the best to Brentford, but Warburton is at Rangers now. I'm delighted to have him, if he has made mistakes in his coaching past I'm sure he's the kind of man who will be working to ensure those mistakes are not repeated.
  20. I will fly my 'union flag' with pride, as I have done for years, no matter what any newspaper or legislator says. I would cherish my day in court if they were ever dumb enough to attempt to criminalise it
  21. The former board decided to give SD such a sweet merchandise deal that it basically means Rangers must now operate without this important revenue stream, placing us at a distinct disadvantage compared with similar sized clubs. What the former board received in return for this generosity, I couldn't speculate on. Current board are trying to use the shirt 'boycott' as leverage to negotiate a new deal. Why any Rangers supporter would buy club merchandise in this situation is beyond me, but I wouldn't buy LionBrand either. Retro strip seems like a great option.
  22. Loved that pen from big Jorg... Keeper is waiting on the blast.. But he calmly slots it in the corner. Oh yes.
