I definitely agree that he needs to take on that responsibility but I am optimistic that him and one or two others will be much improved in a professional setup.

He is obviously a very good player. We got him cos he has some defensive weaknesses, but I'm very sure Sir David can fix those if the kid is willing to learn.

Very harsh assessment of a guy who had a decent shot, good pace, and was very good in the air. Must've been close to 50caps for Scotland too, as well as playing at Chelsea and Spurs. With all respect to Nacho, I wouldn't have considered him as good technically but the wee man was a warrior and scored important goals.

Given Warburton's strong principles on how the game should be played I'm a little surprised that he didn't arrive with his own entourage. However it's his choice, and if he thinks McCulloch has what it takes then fine.
