  1. This is good news. Home grown players provide a lift for the club and the fans, especially when it's a striker banging in a few goals. Im struggling to think of the last exciting striker that came through the ranks.
  2. I also had such amazing luck just last week. That same head coach bloke has 10million dollars in a dormant fund and needs a bank account to send it to the UK!... What a wonderful land of opporchancity Nigeria is :-)
  3. He played the last game of the season (not that any of us will ever fucking forget that) and is mysteriously injured for start of this season then was apparently fit around 6 weeks ago only to be injured again.. In training I guess? I wonder if there's mental issues there.. He wouldn't be the first...Andy Webster for example. Better that he moves on.
  4. It's not a hard man we need just someone who will stamp his authority on midfield. Someone who makes other players play. A fit John Eustace will do that. If we can't have that I'd stick with Andy Halliday he's doing OK.
  5. Sadly I suspect Burchills view is widespread... He just happens to have broken cover
  6. Its a good statement, sometimes they are a bit too lengthy, but this hits the target. It sends a message not only to the SFA but also all the other Kierans Declans and Connors out there that we wont put up with their sectarian based hatred of our club.
  7. Sadly there does seem to be a sectarian element to this, as the Christian names of last night's assailants will verify. As many have pointed out though, all it needs is referees to do their job and it would be sorted. The refs need to find the courage to produce a few early red cards. The likes of Burchill and Houston would soon change their approach when they find they can only get 9 instead of their usual 10 men behind the ball.
  8. Fergies books are fairly predictable if readable affairs, padded with teamsheets etc. probably best avoided. A better read is the unauthorised biography with insight into Jason Ferguson, Rock of Gibraltar etc. To be fair he probably did nothing that most of us wouldn't have done in his position but it's a great deal more interesting than reading about Gary Nevilles breakfast routine.
  9. Signing and dancing around eh?... I'll bet those fuckers never heard any booing either!
  10. Only a bitter hateful DR 'sports journalist' could possibly have that opinion. The rest of mankind and the stats all say otherwise. Last season QOS could legitimately claim to be our peers, this season they look like they belong in one league lower. They came to stop a better team from playing and very nearly got away with it.
  11. Had a roaster sat next to me for 2 seasons who moaned like fuck about most things but especially the ticket prices, couldn't see that leaving 10mins early made the football even more expensive. Nobody moaned about him leaving early though.
  12. Brilliant to watch, and massively improved would be my own take on it. I hope when we do eventually surrender some points it's not to a '10 men behind the ball' mob. I can't handle all the moronic sports journos spouting the 'they got their tactics just right' etc etc in fact most junior coaches could deliver that product.. a very defensive formation with players warned to keep the shape. Talking of which I see the Sunday mail moaning that QOS deserved a point yesterday... unbelievable really.
  13. Aye he neglected tae mention the same thing happens EVERY night that bawbag joins the bairn for dinner... It cannae be much fun knowing you came from the bawbag of a bawbag.
  14. Wonderful challenge BTW can't help but think the taig 'made the most of it'
  15. Class act as both a man and player. Wish him all the best.
  16. Davidson is a good player, we looked at him a while back, sadly the guy is very injury prone. Otherwise he would definitely be playing at a higher level. As for O'Hallaran... Absolutely no.
  17. No sure why Rangers supporters feel the need to have a go at Dean Shiels . He is clearly a decent player who cares about the club. He has shown at Rangers and Kilmarnock that he is more than capable, and his improvement this year was widely anticipated. Whether he could be considered for a Gers team with Champions League aspirations remains to be proven but if MW decides not then he should go with our thanks.
  18. Martin Samuel wrote a good piece in the D Mail about this. Couldn't help but remember halfway through 1st half of Petrofac game against Hibs. Brentford fan came on the official thread saying that he thought the owner was right to move MW along. He didn't say much in the 2nd half. Oh well hope they do well but surely the whole stats thing needs to be toned down just a tad.
  19. Not a chance but happy to sponsor this noble cause
  20. Anyone who is hurt or offended by their newco shite totally deserves to be. I have no time for their opinions nor their rancid history.
  21. The whole approach since Warburton came in has been sound. He hasn't bought world beaters but he has bought players that will get us to the next level and at an age where they can improve along the way. If, when we get to the next level, anyone looks incapable of performing there, then they will be replaced. Everything is just fine.
  22. Class act Neil. Worked for free at Dunfermline because club were struggling. Compare with some who don't work and pick up huge salaries. Always comes across well in the media. And, of course, there was that day at the paedodome...
