Am I offended by a Tarrier, a Sheep Shagger and an Arab calling me a h**? – No. I work with them and give as good as I get – it’s banter! What I do get ‘pissed off’ by is the normalisation of the abuse both us as fans and the club get from virtually every sporting outlet & media channel in this country. Take the MSM - a number of people who considered themselves journalists who saw the opportunity to advance their own careers and more importantly, their own agendas. They wrote with bile & poison about us - a lot of which was lies! Think GS, TE, JS, etc etc. Lest we forget them! What did the custodians of our club do – feck all! These so called journalists saw the biggest club in Scotland being targeted by HMRC & ‘The Forces of Darkness’ and leapt from what they thought was a sinking ship and planted themselves in the Hater’s Camp. Like bacteria living on animal faeces, they continued to spew their venom against us – anything negative, no matter how insignificant, was thrown at us. What did the custodians of our club do – feck all! The most recent example: On the back pages of today’s newspapers the headlines appear to be about some no-hoper of a fullback that plays for the mighty Alloa being skinned by a footballer with talent. This is a feckin’ headline? The headlines should be about Scotland’s most successful club playing football with a style and panache that hasn’t been seen in this country since the Advocaat years, but no, that would be too positive. We should be fairly criticised by the MSM where it’s due – but this level of criticism is neither fair nor due – the Haters continue with their toxin. The hate has now been allowed to get to the stage where the same club allow their program editor to include/endorse a photograph with h** in it. Why? Because over the years it has been allowed to be normalised. Allowed by the custodians of our club! Christ, could you imagine the fallout if the situation was reversed – we’d have the MSM, every ‘offended’ Tim in the country and probably the Scottish Government on our case! But this isn’t a go at just Alloa – it’s a go at every club in Scotland that wanted to see the demise of Rangers – I for one will never forget! Throughout the 140+ years of our history the one constant has been the support, us. Numerous players, managers and custodians of the club have come and gone but ‘we’ have always been there. We’ve saw our club emerge from the most humble beginnings to become the planet’s most successful football club. We’ve had disasters with dreadful loss of life, we’ve had great teams & poor teams, we’ve had great & poor managers and we’ve had great & poor custodians of the club. We are emerging from probably the darkest days our club has seen and sell-out Ibrox proves the one constant – the fans - US. We Don’t Do Surrender! It’s time the custodians of our club took a leaf out of our book and started fighting back against this normalisation of hatred towards everything Rangers. Mr King - Let them all know we were hurt, let them all know we were down on one knee, wounded BUT let them all know we’re up again, marching forward and coming back! Let them know we will take fair praise – but only when it’s due. Let them know we will take fair criticism – but only when it’s due. Now is the time the custodians of our club stop surrendering to the anti-Rangers factions in this country and fight back.

Between fans is banter but this crosses the line. Our club should be kicking up hell with these Tadgers - after all, we know where the Dignified Silence nearly put us. Wee teams like this are more than happy to take the Blue Pound from us. We're moving in the right direction on the field - let's see the Board moving in the right direction off the field and let them all know: "We're on our way back and coming for all of you"

This country is definitely fucked up. It's time our schools taught the real history of Scotland & Great Britain instead of this plastic Jacobite pish Teach them about the Darien Scheme and what that done to Scotland, teach them the truth about 1745 and the implications, teach them how as ONE United Kingdom we stood alone and faced up to the greatest threat of the 20th century AND teach them respect of the boys who gave their lives in two World Wars so that we have our freedom today. Totally agree - back in JW's day the players weren't 'athletes' in the way they are now. Back then diet was all about steak 'n eggs and being able to plough threw mud soaked parks in the middle of winter to put the opposing CF up in the air. Now we look athletically fit ------------------------ but I still wouldn't mind having someone that could put someone up in the air if required John Eustace?
