  1. Dirty player who was injured and not selected more than he played for us, been a prick when playing against us from kicking Jack and going down like he was shot from the "headbutt", rakeing his studs down Morelos, his over celebrating everytime  he plays against us. Be hard pushed to find any supporter who still likes him young conqueror or not

Perhaps it's growing older, wiser, more mature.  Maybe it's the miles and years in between life in Scotland.  Some would say it's the tiresome regularity of these fixtures, a reflection of the sorry state of Scottish football.  I'm not sure.  But I do know that these games don't excite me like they once did.  From Wednesday to Saturday we argued, worried and looked forward to the big game. From Monday to Wednesday, we argued about the game.  Not sure if that's still the same as it once was.  You'd be pals all week with celtic fans at work and rivals on a Saturday - and it was only on Saturday or Wednesday that these games would be played - and there was a ton of banter.

And you'll notice certain trends.  In general, the team that scores first does not lose and generally wins.  How many times has the team who conceded first came back to win?  Scores are generally limited to two goals, occasionally three.  Red cards occur frequently.  The teams are very, very rarely equally matched - generally one team has superiority over the other, sometimes by a marked degree.  And you never see many classic games or classic football.  Contrast today's games with games in the 1960's or 1970's.

I'll tune in to the game tomorrow but feel somehow, somewhere, it's not the same.  Things ain't what they used to be.

Probabally attempted to be poignant but comes across as a bit self centred and entitled. This game excites so many and is the highlight of the year for many of the support. If i couldnt get up for this game id be tempted to chuck it.

There is a generation that havent seen us win anything, who havent been around when we beat them regular, who hear the stories about how big and great a club we are but havent lived in that glory moment......try telling them its not important...or not what it used to be

Not watched it and no offence to BM but a surely scrapping the bottom of the barrel with this one as he didn’t exactly have a standout career, only remember him being at us for about 3 or 4 years and doing nothing much of note

2 league titles, a scottish cup and a league cup

More winners medals than out full current squad combined...but aye mate did nothing

Because doing the same thing gets u tye same shitty results. We have has 3 quarters of a season to sort this shit out. Tinkering around the edges does not work.

I would give captaincy to jack.

It sends a message that changes are afoot. He is also more likely to be in a position to make a difference late in games.

Suppose my point is what difference would the armband make to Jack or anyone elses game, should they not, as senior players, be doing that anyway?

Whoever is captain makes zero difference in my opinion.

Don't want to get too ahead of myself here but going on today's result it doesn't seem like he's going to have much impact

45 minutes after not playing for months, in a meaningless friendly, in a system thats new to him with players hes never played with before and he is in danger of being written off already

😂😂 place cracks me up sometimes

I've already explained it in the very post you quoted. I'm not going to rephrase it, if you don't understand it, fine; we can move on.

No i understand your reply, which agreed with me that Tav is not a £20 million player 😂

    Move along now :hiboys:

Dembele went for 20m and he was overrated as fuck and Tav is likely to go down south which is a far richer market. These teams have the money and we should make them pay it.

We might see different in some games but the stats say there aren’t many better right backs around at the moment and he’s the best one in the Scottish league by a country mile and better than a lot of them down in the Premier League. Hutton went to Spurs for around 10 million before football went completely crazy so I don’t see how 20 million for Tav is something to be laughed at.

Hutton was 23 year old full internationalist with goals and assists in the Champions league and today would be worth that £20 million.

Im a Tav fan and he would be difficult for us to replace, but a £20 million valuation for a 28 year old right back playing in Scotland is something to be laughed at im afraid.

Do I actually think he's worth that? No. But EPL transfers are basically fantasy stuff. As I said, a nobody striker went for 19 million. If we can afford to fleece teams down there, why shouldn't we?

So why did you reply to me laughing at a post that said he was valued at £20 million ?

You said it yourself.. he is an important player to US. Keeping him could mean winning the league, which could see us qualifying for the Champions League proper... that would be worth more than 20 million to us in cash. He is very important to us and we should demand top dollar for him.

Yes but not £20 million,  im afraid thats just a bit silly.

What about Bournemouth paying £19million for Solanke? A guy who is completely unproven. If the likes of Liverpool are holding out for silly fees then so should we be - particularly with our best assets. I'm not saying £20m for Tav is realistic but I do think £7m is laughably off.

Why reply then...when the post i made was laughing at a £20 million valuation.

Not sure what's funny about that if he's going to the English premiership market. A completely unproven striker who's scored 1 in 5 in the Premiership has went for 19 million. It's about time we started hardballing.

    Are you actually serious?

He is an important player for us but to say he is worth £20 million, even to an EPL side, is fantasy stuff and borderline lunacy im afraid.

£7m for Tav would be a travesty

He might blow hot and cold but he’s a big part of how we play and our captain, should go for no less than 20m or 15m with a sizeable sell on percentage.

    £20 million for Tav..............
