Place to watch game v Spartak in Venice
williamcarvel9 replied to williamcarvel9's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
Some tremendous replies on here. Think the best place will be the hotel room which has Wi-Fi on the bt sports app ?. Thanks anyway -
Does anyone know of any places that I would be able to watch the game tomorrow in Venice? I've only seen a few Irish pubs on Google so not sure if they'd show the game. Any help would be appreciated

Personally I would still like t ok see a 3 5 2. I don't think it worked against Motherwell because Flanagan was one of the centre halves if I'm not mistaken. Personally think a 3 5 2 would help unlock these compact defences we have struggled with McGregor Katic Goldson Worral Tavernier Barisic Jack Arfield Ejaria Morelos Lafferty

See last season just before the game v them at Ibrox. I was hearing that "we're back" and I wasn't convinced. We were way off it but the majority thought because we weren't far off the top that we were back and had others running scared. Maybe I am getting carried away but we have the players now and a manager now, I firmly believe that we can be back challenging and hopefully leading to dominating again.

Wow! What a performance

It's not letting me get it now, could only get it before 7pm is this right?

Bolstered at the Back, Still lacking up Top

Put Murphy where Middleton is and Ejaria where Murphy is and that will be the team I'd start -

Since the Warburton era the amount of excellent positions we get ourselves into with no end product is ridiculous. Players need to be courageous and take responsibility in these areas -
Lots of support from midfield and wide, hope it's a sign of things to come

Noticeably from the way we set up yesterday that with Candeias and Arfield in the middle with McRorie sitting, our central midfelders ended up wider supporting the wingers and outnumbering the full backs, with McRorie being the protection. I'm presuming this is the primary formation although Gerrard has said he would use others depending on the opposition. Even though it was v Bury it looked effective. Do we think this is the formation and line up v Shkupi?

Just watched the documentary there. I was born in 88 so didn't realise how good a squad it was. But scum press trying to destroy careers and lives back then too, didn't realise how bad Johnston got it either

Did we not nearly sign Diego Tristan round about the same time as Tamudo. Do I want to say It was Mallorca he played for

I read about Watford recently. They are working wonders under Marco Silva but a lot of their success is behind the scenes. They've had something like a manager a season the past 4 but never sack them during the season, each with a bit more success than previous. This is what we need to build, a smooth behind the scenes so that when a manager goes there is no major transition

I don't see a reason at the minute to break up Jack and Dorrans. He will probably be eased in. Very happy with Jack, never really seen him at Aberdeen but he's very tidy and does a great job

Maybe being over critical but just his composure and the way he looked on the ball was very uncomfortable and clumsy looking

There was a piece of play where 2 Marseille defenders tripped each other up and let Herrera take the ball on the wing. He looked like he had no idea or technical ability and just lashed the ball against the defender hoping for a corner. Didn't fill me with too much confidence after seeing that

How frustrating is Wallace? He gets himself in great positions time and again but his final ball is woeful -
Just ordered Premier Sports, anyone know how long it will take to come on to my sky??

Starting Lineup First Europa League Qualifier

Foderingham Tavernier McRorie Cardoso Wallace Rossiter Jack Miller Kranjcar Dalcio Morelos -
I'm presuming this to be an academy loan, where he will still train with Rangers and then head to Berwick for the games, so at least he's getting competitive outings.

The other one that gets me is should of instead of should have. Ridiculous grammar

It's good to see that they are upgrading it, however I don't like the fact they are fitting years of work into a matter of weeks. Take time and do it properly would make more sense to me

Transfer activity summer 98/99
williamcarvel9 replied to Brackley Bluenose's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
There wasn't a transfer window back then until something like May. You could buy players all year. Reyna was signed just before the end of that season if I remember correctly
