I think 11+ new players coming in and Gerrard saying he's got almost every player he's asked for then it has to be yes for me. Yes, we are still short in a few areas but I think it's unrealistic for us to change 2 years worth of disastrous signings in one transfer window.

I expect they were hoping to get rid of him and just gave him 13 thinking it would be temporary. It's rare for a player to have number 13 for us I think.

As well as everything that's going on with them we now have players in our squad who would walk into their team. Early days but IMO McGregor, Goldson and Katic would walk into their team right now and you could possibly make a case for a few others. Looking forward to this season.
