I know its an unpopular opinion but if the market we're shopping in is the likes of McInnes, Clarke, Neilson etc. then I actually think Neil would do a job for us. Has a decent record, knows the league and seems like someone who wouldn't take any shit. Obviously the fact he's a tim is an issue with him but at the same time if he's as much of a tim as he's being made out to be he wouldn't be willing to take the job. Obviously none of us know budgets etc. so no one really knows what market we are actually shopping in but I personally think Neil is the best in that category.

Morelos is a better player than Cummings absolutely no doubt about that however, Morelos clearly has an attitude problem and can't score against them. Add to that Cummings is a far better finisher than Morelos so overall next week Cummings deserves a chance IMO.

Statement is an absolute disgrace. The only reason I can think of as to why he's done it is he wants to balance out Kings ridiculous statement from last week to add a bit of realism. Clutching at straws though.

What else is he going to spend his 30k a week on?

I agree but just because this season hasn't went the way anyone hoped doesn't mean finishing second becomes completely irrelevant. Finishing second is the absolute minimum.

Did anyone actually think we would win the league this year before a ball was kicked? I doubt it, therefore second is the next best thing. The majority pretty much agreed that finishing second and winning a cup would be progress and relative success this season so all this about it doesn't matter is compete pish.

Aye fuck it lets just finish fourth behind Derek McInnes' Aberdeen and Neil Lennon's Hibs. Doesn't matter anyway.

Even if you're right the whole thing still sounds very desperate.

This was never a problem when we were winning.

It's an opportunity to give the likes Dorrans and McCrorie time to recover and hopefully work up some fitness but that's about it. Quicker they are back the better.

Cummings is a better finisher than Morleos but Morelos is better in the system we play. Unfair asking Cummings to play up front himself and occupy 2 centre halves, that isn't his game at all and never has been.
