I don't like him. i don't know why. His touch is awful and his "football intelligence" is non existent but he has numbers as does Fashion. Bizarre. Think we all just want him to be something he's not. He's a squad player and he pulls his weight enough. Maybe I shouldn't expect more as he's just a bit part player.

I think his potential price tag affects that. He's not 4.5 million good, or anywhere near that. He did well. Made some horrific mistakes but so did Goldson and Lundstram and thankfully none were punished/we collectively made up for them.

Gio has proved that he's the man to take us forward. The mistakes that got us in this situation are largely (not all) individual errors. The big thing is that Gio has learned and adapted and taken us forward. I'm excited to see what he can do with his own players.I can't remember the last time we had a manager who could adapt like him, (Walter probably). I'm 100% sure over a season he beats the one-tactic sweaty ange.

The points we are losing are often down to individual errors. Gio IMO is a superior tactician to Gerrard as we’ve seen from actual formation all changes rather than sticking to one system.he can’t put the ball in the net. He can only set up to make opportunities. So then what? It falls on the players. If they don’t have the hunger then Gio and team are maybe bad motivators( he’s not very inspiring in interviews). Is training bad? I think it’s the motivation in this squad but I’d give Gio a chance with a rebuild and maybe he needs some maddie to fire rockets up players.
