This is how football is now, in an ideal world you produce youngsters who are real quality who go on to play for you for years, young Patterson and even billy Gilmour are 2 that when the time came, could have went on to play with us for years, but what can ye do🤷🏻

Some old shit as under gerrard this season, so it’s definitely the players, tbf Goldson looks concentrated tonight for a change but tav, Kent, Morelos and Hagi have have been poor so far
id have Patterson roofe and sakala on if said players still not doing it by 60 min or I fear us dropping points, we don’t look enough of a threat up top and can’t really get any grip of the game, we are playing how hibs want us to play

He was finished last year, and if it wasn’t for his new coaching position a lot more people would have been raging we signed him up for another year instead of investing that wage elsewhere in the team
Gerrard showed his true colours what he thinks of Defoe by leaving him here on his todd to face the awkward situation with the new manager and backroom team coming in and him pretty much been demoted back to player only, gio has no connection to Defoe, and as nice a guy as Defoe is, he might be a decent coach one day but he will never be a manager in his own right imo

He’s been one of the players on it with the ball and creating chances but he needs to take more chances and do his best work in the right areas but defo one of our best players this season when it’s been easy to spot who’s at it and who’s not

Hard to watch at times but so are every team that heads to play Livingston at home, we done what we had to, some players still don’t look fully concentrated on their jobs, almost as if they think it’s too easy in the spfl and no player in out team is good enough to be thinking like that, we had a great season last year and a lot of them got the praise they deserved but we have let our standards slip this year and the time is now to build on their reputations again, some guys have to leave this year to keep the team fresh so I hope we can do it and gain some momentum now the Gerrard situation is cleared

We are still too slow and laborious at building from the back, I’d rather we were more direct instead of passing it for passing it sake, its cost us goals playing about with it in the wrong areas plus it’s fucking boring and we only seem to Ditch playing like that for spells in games, usually when we go a goal down

I think anybody outside the uk is too big gamble at this stage of the season, trying to get the team to play a new system and that, but if they got a guy who knows how the current team play and knows the opposition better than anybody in England or abroad, and let’s face it other than somebody like Callum Davidson (who’s more of a gamble imo) McInnes it would probably be the man with the most experience as a manager, plus every player I’ve heard speaking who played for him, loved him.
