    I was diagnosed with prostate cancer and had surgery two years ago. Like every other right minded person my main concern was the affect my diagnosis was having on my family. My best friend - a fellow bear - died from the same condition on Christmas Eve 2018. I can assure this idiot that there is nothing funny about it! Thoughts are with the Goalie and his loved ones.

    Thanks mate, that is pretty close. I think it's because we had so many players ending in the letter N that people understandably assume that 11 of them must have played in the same game.

    A call out to older bears... I remember my dad telling me about a midweek cup game around 1968 ( I think it might have been the Glasgow Cup?) Where every one of our starting 11 had the letter n at the end of their surname. Can anyone confirm/provide names?
