  1. Simply the best. Incredible from start to finish today. Every club quick to knock our support this week forgetting the fact they can’t even fill a stadium or create an atmosphere for the biggest games of their season. WATP
  2. Didnt Walter play Albertz and Gazza up front or something or in a really advanced role in 96 when we got pumped 4-1 from Ajax?
  3. Disagree tbh. Think he is a better defender than Barasic and Halliday. He's far more natural in that position than Flanagan. He's 21. He's probably been best left back in the league for about 16 month playing alongside pretty average players. Has pre-existing relationship with JJ on the field. His biggest weakness is he isn't that great going forward, I think our coaching staff would improve him. End of the day all about opinions but I think he'd be a safe bet to improve our problem position, could have good resell value and would give us a solid 7/8 out of ten each week.
  4. Adam Lewis. The boy Larouci also looked impressive for them preseason. Would imagine these avenues have been explored. For me investigating a cash plus player(s) for Greg Taylor looking like sensible option right now.
  5. Flanagan is probably the better defender of the 3 which is probably why he will start in the big games unless we get someone else in. But less than ideal as he will give the ball away and always looks like he has a mistake in him in that position. A very frustrating weakness of ours which needs addressed urgently as it will be targeted. As has been said we shld sell BB while he's trading off his Croatia starting status and get someone in better suited to our style with the right mentality.
  6. dont think Barasic suits our style of play. At his best he whips in balls to...who? We dont play in a manner that suits him. Watch the games where he plays and we just pass to him who ends up whipping in balls to no-one. As limited as Flanagan is at least he gives it instantly to more creative players and we build from there.
  7. Ach we're only a few draws away from denouncing all newcomers as secret taigs and casting up folks opinion on our transfer business but lets enjoy that red, white and blue wave of positivity while it lasts. 💙
  8. A very intelligent footballer, his movement is a lesson for any youngster watching the game
  9. It's like a love, religion, tradition, way of life, family, duty, passion, dream, inspiration, hero, with a consistent demand to be the best, to never accept being second and to win at all costs. To me thats what it means to be a Rangers fan, and what it's felt like through the years.
  10. A great weapon to have away from home n the counter and at times was fantastic tonight. Has attributes that make him well suited to our style - let's get behind him.
  11. Was magnificent and he can get even better.
  12. Reckon Aribo will grab his fair share this year - more concerning for me is lack of players with the ability/confidence to take someone on in a 1 v 1 situation. Was noticeable Kent was streets ahead in that department last year, was hoping Aribo could be a that sort of midfielder but doesn't really look like it so far. Tav at least goes for it, Barisic did against us so maybe could if he wasn't so terrified to make a mistake. One of the main reasons we end up with so much side to side passes and struggling against teams that sit deep IMO, here's hoping Jones, Ojo can step up.
  13. sensible observation - disappointed we haven't lowered the risk with a better alternative , trust Gerrard has seen more in training but still worrying.
  14. Wasn't sure when the appointment was made, remember thinking an older head might have been better. Was completely wrong I think - will hold my hands up. Steven Gerrard exudes everything it means to be Rangers in my opinion. A born winner, full of integrity, exempt professionalism desire and fearless. Fully believe he will take us to 55. (pished while writing this but fuck it).
  15. Sharp and industrious, average delivery but lets wait until he plays against a decent side to judge.
  16. Stupid harsh criticism - has excellent close control, has potential to make things happen in tight areas, very sensible business for free and a much better backup than we had last season.
  17. Two Nigerian lads claimed to be 16, Don Hutchison gave both a glowing recommendation as he played with them back at Liverpool.
  18. Cafu comparisons are pretty generous tbh. Cafu couldn't have scored a free kick for love nor money.
  19. He's blue, he's white, he's now now now now now. Now now now. Now now now.
  20. Got away with one in first half but grew into it and looked sharper, fitter, stronger. Actually fancied him to have a go with the free kick before he was taken off. Hopefully he keeps improving
  21. Still has a lot to prove for me and probably my only worry in our starting 11 for big games. Has good delivery and useful set pieces, though still don't think we've seen the best of that yet. Biggest worry is that he's looked dodgy defensively, hesitant in the tackle and also when teams have got stuck in and played at a high tempo (classic SPL style against us when it's a cup final for them) he's not been able to stand up to it. Has my backing but needs to get the grips with the above fast.
  22. Nice bit of skill, but going to cite: "Let’s give the guy a good fucking 10 games before we make any comment, I remember cunts this time last year lauding Coulibaly like he was Makalele ffs. " BlueMe, 2019.
  23. Played well. Can take the ball in tight areas and make something happen. Could be really useful against teams that park the bus at Ibrox.
