He does have the ability to become a good player, but he needs to be doing better than the display he put on today. Stil has to prove he can be a goalscorer; 16 in his professional club career, his slow reactions, playing with his head down, and cumbersome control makes me doubt it. He was horrible, hopefully that's due to the injury and the lack of match time When I saw he was being paired with Boyd today,I knew he would have a lousy game. Boyd has that effect on anyone paired with him. I've seen it all now, Boyd blamed for Laffertys performance today. Some people need to get a grip. Because he's such a useless footballer maybe? His passing, link-up play and lack of a work-ethic would be enough to drag any strike-partner down. He's a lazy waste of a jersey. Any player in his place would have scored his goa todayl, it changes nothing about his performance. The sooner we get this lazy, arrogant cunt to fuck the better. Lets keep this on topic and not let it drift into yet another Boyd thread I believe a match-fit Lafferty with Miller/Naismith/Broadfoot beside him would have a far better chance of making it at Ibrox than with Boyd beside him. Today showed he isn't the miracle worker some have been playing him up as, but hopefully there's more to come as Lafferty gets back to full fitness. In my opinion he'll be better than Hateley - just needs to put on a wee bit of beef! Haven't saw the O.F. game but I'll bet he played as well as he can (given the position he was put in).
