From what I saw, he beat Hinkel every time on the first half, had a great shot which Boruc saved, won headers and was our best player. To pick him out as pish is unbelievable. I was encouraged by Lafferty's performance, he looked sharp and worked extremely hard, giving Hinkel all sorts of problems in the first half. He should never have been taken off. I wouldn't say he was our best player, but the whole team were rank so it's hard to pick anyone out. He was probably decent at best. Hinkel made him look good as he's pish. I didn't say Lafferty played rubbish though did i? I thought he did pretty decent on the wing, when he moved up front, and especially alongside novo is when he disappeared.
