I dont understand why smith wants players over 33 what does that say about murray park, im sure theres loads of good youngsters there so lets see them! Aguiar I think could well be one of them on a bosman and I heard a rumour the other day about Lee Wallace. I actually think we will sign Chris Brunt as well. Of course Alan Smith and Robbie Fowler are both done deals........ Both have good potential, are big bluenoses and are still young. I agree with Prodigy in that Mendes has looked off the pace in the last few games (giving the ball away etc.) but I still think he will go in the summer. McArthur would provide cover there and Barr would serve as a long term replacement for Weir (cheap as well if Falkirk go down). I would much rather have him, Hreidarsson or even Wilkie instead of that liability Broadfoot or McCulloch. I really think we missed out big time by not buying Berra when we had the chance. He won't want to come here now he's reached the Premiership. If we had saved our money on Velicka and Webster then we might've had enough money back then. When we win the league we should be able to afford Driver who has been ripping apart our defence all season. Lafferty was a disgrace on Saturday and I hope he goes in the summer. Fleck should provide good cover up front and on the left for us. If we can't get Driver I certainly Fleckie should be a starter on the LW. Would like to see Aguiar, McArthur (as a. he is quality and b. it would piss off the tims), Healy (he'll need games to get back to match fitness as I've watched him for Norn Iron and he's been a lazy fucker due to not playing), Brunt would be a cracking signing especially from deadballs. What about Aaron Hughes from Fulham?? If he would leave the EPL and was cheap enough he'd be a quality buy but not sure about realistic. I know big Sasa has done a sterling job at left back but it would be nice to get a natural left footer in there who likes to get forward. Jason Roberts maybe, Ricardo Fuller, Dean Ashton would be tremendous if we could get him fit, im sure he would love a crack at champs league. I dont think we need any more "squad" players, if they are no better than what we have, we shouldnt be interested. Its hard being totally realistic, we dont know what our financial level is yet, Walter has filled our squad with mccullochs and daillys, we dont know what we are going to get but we know it must be better than we have had so far.
