tommy2212 151
i was banned from FF also ,do i have some balls do join another forum? In fact if you haven't been banned from FF you haven't lived i don't agree with the general on a lot of things but I'm almost certain he is a bear so enough of the personal shit and sniff sniff calls and keep it on topic instead of ruining a perfectly good thread with a bit of heated discussion. brissybear 50
Usual tactics by the original poster, interesting article he says but I won't be converted he says then one his fellow conspirators comes in and gives it Rangers have nothing to do with Protestantism blah blah blah blah, time to flush these imposters down the pan ? Anybody ever met these people ? Anybody ever met you outside of this forum or RM functions? What pubs do you drink in before the Rangers games?? You say you have never met a bear who is lets say to appease ypu, a "handwringer"? When I was a teenager in the 80's, I reckon about 80% of the folk I went to the games with would meet with your approval. There was a definate change when MoJo was signed, I dont care what anyone says. Everyone on here surely must have known someone who decided to "give it up", but really ended up going back and looking like a bit of a tit anyway. My point being, when I go to the home games, I usually drink in the Kenny, Rolls Royce or the WRC. Out of a group of around 8 or 9 who would meet up, only 1 gave a fuck about anything to do with religion, OO, Fenians, any of that stuff. I've seen the change, and yes it came with success wether you like it or not. You will never get 6000 watching us v Morton again as we did in the 80's. Wether you like it or not SDM changed us and dragged us into the 21st century, albeight his time is up now. With regards to the original post, there are some great points about Donald Findlay, the sash and DW's. Donald Findlay should still be at the club and for that SDM should hang his head in shame. BD, I love the way, you and others, put spin on this kind of thing. The only bears being attacked are from the likes of youreslves. Even the article in the OP is attcking fellow bears in my book. Nobody, and I mean nobody, should have to conform to anything when supporting a football club. Wether you like it or not, there are bears who are socialists, nationalists, catholics, muslims, jews and even fucking eskimo's. As earlier posters said we have fans from every walk of life. Times are changing, Me personally, i just take what i want from rangers, i love singing unionist songs, orange songs, brittish songs cuz for me thats what i like to do. nothing better having a night out with ur mates singing god save the queen on a friday. then getting up early for ibrox on a saturday, Im from a protestant background and i will songs that reflect that. It makes me proud but i still have no problem with people who have other views. Rangers one club many cultures!!!!

Show me anything that says officially 'Rangers are a protestant club'? I'm sorry but this is not a fact. Traditionally supporeted by protestants and ran by protestants with protestant values, but not an official protestant club.
