My point being, when I go to the home games, I usually drink in the Kenny, Rolls Royce or the WRC. Out of a group of around 8 or 9 who would meet up, only 1 gave a fuck about anything to do with religion, OO, Fenians, any of that stuff.

I've seen the change, and yes it came with success wether you like it or not. You will never get 6000 watching us v Morton again as we did in the 80's. Wether you like it or not SDM changed us and dragged us into the 21st century, albeight his time is up now.

With regards to the original post, there are some great points about Donald Findlay, the sash and DW's. Donald Findlay should still be at the club and for that SDM should hang his head in shame.

I think that your memory is letting you down, we never had 6000 at home against Morton. I can mind when we played Kilmarnock in 1982-83 we had a crowd of 5,342 for a league cup game.

I'm sorry but this is not a fact. Traditionally supporeted by protestants and ran by protestants with protestant values, but not an official protestant club.
