paul73 0
He did say um a few times but i thought he done well enough. Some people are pathetic. He's one of us and that'll do me!
Dietspam 733
Yeah he did say um a lot, but i thought he was open and honest. You don't get a lot of that in Football these days.
LegendofCoop 17,483
To be honest, I didn't really grasp what he was trying to say. I think the more he spoke, the less I understood what he was saying. Maybe that's just me though!
royalbluebell 38
What exactly was so poor about the interview? He sounded articulate and intelligent, he spoke of his passion for The Rangers and the value of the clubs history and heritage..... ......and he looked the part too
welsh103 12
Thought is was a good interview. The first few minutes he did say 'um' alot but he obviously knows what he's talking about. That's what matters.
BlueSuedeSambas 54,420
He made a lot of good points, but his delivery was very poor. Hopefully it will improve as he gains more experience in the role.

lancedeangers1 287
I was very impressed with how he conducted that press conference. Given the nature of the conference and it being his first address he naturally was very careful initially with what he said hence the 'um's' etc but after 5 minutes or so he went on to articulately demonstrate his knowledge and passion for the club. He will be a very good chairman for us IMO. Well done Alistair.
Gazzas_Flute 11
on sky sports and both presenters laughing at his very poor interview . What was very poor about it ? It was his first interview in a new role, give the guy a break FFS.
loyalandtrueblue 69
Couldn't give a flying Fuck what Sky or any of the other Mhedia bhoys think! I thought he came across very well regarding his thoughts and plans and the BIG bonus is he is a Bear!!
mav3ric 13
I thought he came across well. Good to see him building up the global brand image and fan base, very attractive to potential buyers. A very articulate an intelligent man, a credit to our club imo. Well done Mr Chairman. LegendofCoop 17,483
Just watched the whole 17 min interview....what an articulate guy he is. Yes he stumbled about for the first six mins or so. I think he clearly responds better to questions put to him, rather than trying to 'big himself up' to the media...hence the pauses. I'll tell you what though....I get the impression that this guy has thought out every little detail of how to get us out of our current financial mess. Hope I'm not wrong, but I really think he's got plans for us that some others had never though of. Over to you Mr Chairman!
loyalandtrueblue 69
I think that the new owners are nearly in place and Mr Johnston is there to help them settle and possably he was put there at their request? Anyway i believe that he is here for the long term as chairman and will turn our club around and put the supporters back in the heart of things!
