RonaldDeBoer 0
Who would you have in your team? Obviously the stats say it all. It's got to be Ally McCoist but i've never seen Dj or CS play in a full game, just highlights. They both looked cracking players.

Ryan_1 1,136
Ally McCoist isn't the 'second greatest Ranger' for nothing.
thebooler 4,509
Statistically there's no doubt it's Ally, but big DJ was some striker in his day as well. Stein? Barcelona 1972 - Nuff said! :praise:

Bluepeter9 5,167
Seen all 3 DJ was good - great even - but definately 3rd choice - Loved Stein - my boyhood idol - but it has to be Ally!
Guest
3 greats from different generations who played a different game every one of them. Id go with McCoist though just because he was my hero growing up.
ManchestGer 347
I've seen clips of all 3 and my dad always keeps going on about Stein but growing up watching super Ally swings it for me

broxybear 0
DJ in 1978 was awesome - 38 goals in the season and the 16 yard bullet header at Hampden against Wales which was still the best header I have ever seen. He was unstoppable in the air and led the line like Hately but he got great service from a succession of outstanding wingers including Tommy McLean, Cutty Young, Davie Cooper and Willie Johnstone. Oh to have one decent winger at Ibrox now!

Stopped him emulating Colin Stein, who did score in all three Home International Championship games one year. My all time hero is Stein but DJ was also a great defender so I'd probably pick him. vasily09 0
DJ never looked after himself, but i still say he was much a much more clinical finisher at the height of his powers.
