Was talking to a mate who is another bear and apparently there will be massive news regarding David Murray's finances coming out within the next week, it relates to £70 million pound of debt which he switched over to Rangers from one of his other companies and this is proving to be the stumbling block for any bids for the club!

I am not saying there has been bids because I dont know but my mate is told that this will ruin Murray and any effetion any rangers supporters had left for him!

No debt has been 'switched over' to Rangers from any company - least of all MIH.

Thats not what I was told mate, to be fair I dont think any of us can say 100% that this is the truth or not? but I was just sharing my rumour and imo this could be true, he done the same thing with companies such as mimtec so why not us?

Well, the accounts were released late last year and no such mention was made of a £70million transfer.

What makes you (or your mate) think this was done?

Maybe it's you that can't read. Go and get a copy of the accounts and show me where this loan happened, 70 million should be easy enough to find...

As RFC52 said above this is taken from the filth sites (even most of them have realised it's pish by now), is your mate one of them i wonder....... :sherlock:

p.s. It's Sir David Murray to you.......

Its called in the finacial world a ( Black Hole ) therefore unless the accounts came into trouble and were investegated or assessed by an independant advisor then they wouldnt appear, so it has nothing to do with what has been released or quoted so far!

Ask yourself this, why did Murray relinquish control so easily, why did he allow the bank on the board, do u honestly believe it was because he wanted to spend time with his family? Murray has bowed to the banks because he has skeletons in the cupboard that he wants to keep their, it will come out in the next week! believe me or not? as a ranger it affects the sale of the club but that it is! and hopefully when it does come out the sale will be a little bit simpler

No problem mate, from what I picked up anyway, the debt doesnt belong to rangers therefore even if it was on our accounts we would not be responcible for it, all murray was doing was balancing the books so to speak and he has left this with rangers, look regardless to what timmy would have you believe, I dont believe that even if this was our debt it still wouldnt be the end because we are the biggest sporting institution in scotland and always will be, but there are irregularaties in murrays account which affect rangers and this will come out in the next, could be lies, could be true I am just telling you what I was told, PS southpark freak, i will never call the thief sir, he should be jailed for what he done to my club.

I don't see any point in arguing with you, your points are absolute nonsense. £70 million doesn't just disappear down a "black hole" and not be included in the annual report.

We'll just bookmark this thread so that you can explain to us what happened to the story at the end of next week.

MIH and Ranger accounts like all companies have to be audited by an independant organisation who are duty bound to sign off the annual accounts as being representative so if there was £70 "missing" the audtors would have found it or at least not signed off the accounts. If this money is in a black hole as you say a very large and well respected business services company are in deep shit.
