Friday night international football should be pretty good, also scheduling of the spain (away) game could be helpful (or they could just still totally pump us)

Spain away in our last game? So thats the last 3 campaigns we've been up against a big team in our last game with the us needing wins the previous two only to be beaten both times. Do we never learn? Spain away is the last game we wanted to finish with.

It might not be that bad "in theory" if they have run away with the group... they might switch off near the end of the campaign... doubtful though, they will probably be looking for a glorious finish and as weve seen with previous campaigns, that hasnt been the case :anguish:

Holland were ridiculously clear last time round. Its so fucking stupid. Why do we just accept it every time?

We just weren't good enough that night. The game meant very little to them so it may have been our best bet to get a win. Just because we didn't take that opportunity, doesn't mean it wasn't the best opportunity we had to do so.

At the end of the day, if we aren't on a position to qualify without relying on a win or a draw away to Spain on the last day then we don't deserve to be there.

We should be looking to have 2nd spot wrapped up before we play Spain in the last game, but as usual with Scotland we will need something from that game.

I really don't see what difference it makes whether we play them last or 1st we are still more than likely to lose against them.

whats with the near year gap within the fixtures

is there no int dates at the start of the year now?

Theres games all over the place that the smaller groups don't have fixtures for.

so we lump 3 or 4 fixtures in the space of a month and a half, hoping an injury crisis doesnt occur, then dont play again for nearly a year, by then any undestanding the players have built up is long gone

is it just me or are the loonies running the fucking asylum??????

There was never going to be a good time to play Spain away, but I actually think it falls at a decent enough time.

If you look at the previous 3 fixtures, there is a very good chance of getting 9 points prior to playing Spain. Hopefully we have clinched 2nd place before travelling over there.

There is no chance of Scotland making it through, best to start looking towards 2014 then 2016 then 2018

This (tu) were just not good enough at the moment.I would love to see up get through but i don't think so.
