pcbear 10,932
If i was buying something i would want to see the item myself, no matter how much i trusted the person reporting back to me about its condition, i have seen him quoted as being in Edinburgh a few times but no stories about Glasgow. When we were buying players, imo if they were swithering if you got them up to Ibrox and Murray Park, that mostly swung the deal.Strange one if he has not been near.Dave King seemingly has had another raft of charges in SA so if he was a player at all it would seem ever more unlikely now.My heads nipping with this, hence a post at 6am. WVB 2,560
The same question could be asked of SDM.
grahamteuchter 1
same could be said about some in here too. As long as he wasnt a member of the subway loyal
simon 1,771
To be honest I think Ellis will be more interested in the finances just now. He will know all about Ibrox and the team.
lewisrfc93 470
He should know a good bit about us by now. And as rangersi said he will be more interested in the finances at the moment.
Poetry_In_Blue 1,043
You must remember WE ARE GLASGOW RANGERS, Ellis may be concentrating on the financial aspects at the moment, but I'm sure he will know exactly what he is getting when it comes to the prestige, history and honor of owning our club. bombaybadboy08 15,660
Lets be honest he probably knows everything about Ibrox and the surrounding area and has pound signs in his eyes regarding developing the area.If he buys Rangers it certainly won't be because of his undying love for the club but i think he will have to take us forward as a club to make a healthy profit to walk away with so i'm not worried whether he's a 'Rangers man' or been to Ibrox before. He helps us out out the shit we're in and he walks away with a profit, both of us are happy. caseyjones 3,009
I've not read anything to say that he is a fan. It seems to be purely business, so no real need to take in a match.
ManchestGer 351
As people have previously stated I think his interests lie primarily in developing the surrounding areas.
scotty657 1
The same question could be asked of SDM.SDM was at every home game, and some away.
NorthernLights 2,529
Yeah, so the same question could be asked... it would just have a completely different answer.
minstral 5,375
The same question could be asked of SDM.SDM was at every home game, and some away. Was he not one of the subway loyal, i am sure he used to leave at half time.
blueben_d 40
Had SDM been to many games when he bought us?Don't think it's particularly relevant to see games, unless he fancies himself as a Romanov type who wants to get involved in the team, personally I'd rather avoid that sort of scenario
