King_gazza 1,065
Do you think this will be davie's last year for us? I think it will be,but you never know. Am sure ally will offer him a deal as a defensive coach to help the younger kids & hes a model pro to look upto.
simplythebest 11,453
By the sounds of things Weir will only stop playing for us when he decides it's time to retire.

maxwellrfc 6
He'll not stay with us as a coach, his family are still living in England, I'm sure he'll go back down there as soon as he retires.
nvager 498
If he plays well this year (again) he will be offered another 1 year contract.

stuart1994 4,532
I hope he signs as a coach, he really has became a superb signing for us IMO, love his view of age I'm sure he once said he was a late starter in football so he's making it up at the end of his career which IMO is brilliant. Webby82 6
He is a class act to have. I think he stay until 2012 and retire after captaining us to 4 in a row. Saying that. He's a machine, he could be here at 50. Remarkable how he can still do it at 40 and shows you can never count an old player as done.
King_gazza 1,065
Even if he comes down a few times a week would be a bonus to teach our younger players. He should be in the hall of fame,to me hes up there with gough etc

AGM_72 4,036
He'll be slower, again, next season and I don't fancy our defense dropping any deeper to compensate for that. (if that's even possible)The big man is a legend for me and still has some fantastic attributes, but he should hang up his boots at the end of this year. The deep-defending can cost us and definately is affecting our play.
