Ref for old firm game

Recommended Posts

when are you guys gonna lay off refs.

Craig Thomson deserves every bit of criticism he get's.

Kevin Thomson straight red at Tynecastle and Hampden.

Failure to send off Ian Black for his assault on Nikica Jelavic, which resulted in surgery and a 3 month lay off.

Failing to send off Anthony Stokes for a horrific tackle on Kilmarnock's Jamie Hammil.

celtc offside goal standing.

Awarding celtc a penalty for a foul outside the box.

Chopping off Kirk Broadfoot's goal.

Never sent off Jim Vinegar for that stamp on Amyd Faye but sent Steven Whittaker off.

Paul Hartley done Barry Ferguson in, and he did fcuk all about it.

The stonewall penalties that he never gave us against the bheggars in the 3-2 game back in 2008.

Booking Naismith for diving in the game v Hearts. It was a tremendous tackle by the Hearts player. Moments later fails to book Mrowiec for a blatant dive.

Missed the Loovens assault on Edu.

Bottled it and never awarded us a penalty at Pittodrie last season.

The list goes on. His track record in Rangers v celtc, and Rangers games in general, is appauling. Look at his last performance, Hearts v Rangers. He was bloody awful. Fails to spot blatant cheating, fails to send off Ian Black, instead books him, then watched him foul (fcuking rugby tackle) Steven Naismith about 5 minutes later, and doesn't send him off.

Missed the Loovens assault on Edu.

Incidentally, when asked about McGregor's suspension today, Neil Lennon brought up the retroactive punishment of Loovens as an equally unfair action, as though kicking the air is the same as injuring a player for months and months :wanker:

Great post, should be sent to the SFA for an explanation on this guy even being a ref never mind officiating Rangers games!

Despise Collum, was it the Aberdeen game he was in charge of?

yes.

he also sent of sasa papac for bumping into a falkirk player and refused to recind millers red before an of game he wanted celtc to win.

he had to recind the sasa red it was the worst decision since the days of les mottram.

we are talking about a guy who is a re teacher at a catholic high school and is so arrogant he thinks he can wear a crucifix on his whistle while penalising rangers players unfairly and we wont say a word.

he was also fast tracked through amature and junior football despite being widly hated and though of as usless by the players at both levels.

if my memory serves right that was sasa's first red of his career!

could be. no player has ever been given a strait red for less thats for sure.

sasa was so shocked he couldnt even get angry.

we were also drawing the game at the time and although we won collum was at it.

So all the refs should be atheists to confirm impartiality ?

Nope, should all be Protestants born in Larkhall with 8 King Billy tattoo's per leg and the words to the Famine Song inscribed into there ballsacks.

Nothing else will do. :sherlock:

there is a difference with Collum though.

In general, people's religion shouldn't come into it but when he wears a crucifix on his whistle and his religion is essentially his career, he shouldn't referee an old firm game where, like it or not, religious tension plays a part.

I'm sure some will say the same about Mike McCurry
