sco22y 280 Posted January 22, 2011 Share Posted January 22, 2011 all us fans know that edu and jig dont work together as there is no spark there.its been said on here forever and some more.but come on, why does walter pick them together in a 5 man midfield? blooming negativity that is why.looking to nick a 1 nil.we should be looking to make a statement today.looking to show that hearts arent in the title race.what do we do?show them that we fear them by playing 1 up front.subs were wrong as well.ness and edu were the best of the midfield today yet they both got took off.should have been jig and naismith.why do we use 1 up front in the spl? it is a joke. Ness and Edu's dig was great Ness and Edu getting forward... Its a total Myth saying 4-5-1 is negative when you have the likes of Naismith/Davis/Edu/Ness all supporting, its just made to look negative when we start going Long... and WS isnt to blame for that, the players are. RangersMedia FC play a 4-5-1 and yet we're one of the most attacking sides in our league, its all about how we play it.Granted at this moment in time we dont have the players to utilise such a formation, but folk need to stop thinking because its a 4-5-1 its negative.Thats the best we've played in a while, shit result.And Lafferty still wouldnt get even get on RMFCs bench. MillwallLoyal 284 Posted January 22, 2011 Share Posted January 22, 2011 If we'd have played Weiss Fleck & Naismith as support to Lafferty then that would've been very attacking and i'm sure would've resulted in goals.Unfortunetly Davis Edu & Naismith didn't have the same clout.Which is why we go behind so often, and only then does walter start throwing on the attacking players, and give Naismith licence to play further up the pitch.
