StevieWonder88 10 Posted April 24, 2011 Share Posted April 24, 2011 If you only read the first line maybe you'll be man enough to admit your a bitter bigot and proud, just sing your name below.When and if you start reading through this will make you relise if your a BIGOT or not...A bigot is a person who is stubborn or intolerantly devoted to his or her own opinions and prejudices, especially one exhibiting intolerance, and animosity toward those of differing beliefs - that means if you turn your cheek to actually giving this a read makes you a bigot!I have come to relise on RM there is quite alot of bigots. I know alot of bigots who i see day to day from both ends of the OF fence and alot of people consider me a bigot because im British this and that and always have a view against selliks IRA chants and the TRI colour they fly...Anyways enough about me.Alot of people on here and in pubs or just around the schemes of Glasgow or around the World for this matter, can be easily come under the catogory BIGOT! I personally hate that word and alot of todays Politically correct bullshit!But this matter involves the team i support, love and the very team i plow my hard earned cash into to watch when ever i can.The reason i can say theres quite alot of bigots on here etc, is just have a look at the threads started in the bears den about Neil Lemon or any thread for that matter conserning our rivals.Lets be fucking honest wae yourself if you think by todays standard, religion has a big part to do with football - you need to get a fucking grip of your life and go support someone else! I'm stopping myself getting dragged into this bigoted circle!Some people on here think its alright to judge fellow Rangers fans to have their own views and for a fellow fan not to clap a guy thats had his life threatend and lived in fear for nearly a year now.Personally i'm not gonna clap for him for reasons in the past and because he'll be on the side of the park but if i met him in the street he'd have my respect after everything he's been through.I'd probably even shake the guys hand, after all he's only human!We need to actually all take a look at our ownselfs and fucking grow up!On the field its one thing, keep it PC and shout to the limits like most clubs in Britain do and let the laws of OUR great country clamp down on others after OUR club gets dealt with. Laws are there to be followed not too be pushed and broken.Most likley a few % have read this far anyways and i wouldn't have to say much more to you because you already know the score... Don81 2,846 Posted April 24, 2011 Share Posted April 24, 2011 That's a very hard question to answer tbh, I fucking hate Celtic and everything they stand for, I also hate the Catholic church which is the most corrupt organisation in the world so I guess you could say I'm a bigot in that sense.But I could not bring myself to hate anyone because of their religion. Have been going out with a catholic Celtic fan for 9 years , it is not an issue( obviously ).I have many Catholic friends and we get a good banter with it , close to the bone on both sides but yet again it's not an issue and wouldn't get in the way of our friendships. So how can I be a bigot?To sum up I don't know if I'm a bigot or not but I do know that I wouldn't shake Neil Lennons hand he definitely does not deserve what is happening to him at the moment though ... Personally i think your lost, i 99% would say you where a bigot but i think you like me get mixed up and dragged in with the bigots sometimes. Growing up i was always easily lead and easily distracted but people on here made me realise my actions and how i talk on here - which is far away from quite alot of bigots on here. I have a mate whos from the shankhill whos told me many of mad stories.This is where it should stop though. Over there, why bring your troubles or diffrences and throw it on the Old Firm? The club needs to ban all Ulster songs IMO to help clear the bigots and make Rangers a proper British club who follow the laws. Yeah that means being political correct aswel.
