cam69r 8
I know people will read this thread title and dismiss it immediately but Gordon Strachan started with a 5-0 defeat in a Champions League qualifier and then drew the first game of the league season 4-4 at Motherwell. Celtic then went on to win the league three times in a row and i think they qualified for the last 16 of the Champions League twice in that spell. My point is that a bad start is exactly that, a start. Plenty time for things to work out well and for us to do the business. I think poor pre-season preperation has cost us this slow start but things will pick up real soon.
Shooter 7
It could be argued that Ally is hardly going in blind as Strachan was. Its not like he hasnt had the chance to see where our problems have been over the years and addtress them as his own man. Its early days but the two performances have hardly been encouraging, let alone the results.
Raligt 2,541
Strachan was an experienced as a manager before joining sellick though.

albluenose1990 29
I posted a topic very similar about Mowbray's reign when they opened with a 1-0 defeat at home to dynamo moscow and went away and won to get through, so if he was capable to get that team to do it McCoist can! albluenose1990 29
It should be noted i hope the rest of McCoist's reign goes more like the first 3 years of Strachan than 8 months of Mowbray haha.
RangersMedia 35,961
I was watching the Audi Cup last night and that ginger cunt was on it and he said exactly that.
Jelavic9 5
People need to just forget about the results and back Ally, I appreciate it might be hard though.
Amac9 2,060
It also helped that we had a shite squad that season.
Irwin Sparkes 97
Celtic scored 3 goals in the first half in that Motherwell gameThe way Ally has been setting us out, i couldn't see us scoring 3 goals in the next month
