Al Jolson 3
Come on, he's got to be a Bear surely? Barnes, Mowbray, Brady, the latter stages of Strachan's reign? He's on course to outdo them all. We may be financially stricken but there's no doubt that they're the team in decline. No amount of bluffing in front of the cameras a la Lawells performance can, surely, fool the great unwashed anymore? Lennon never was the man to manage them but was cut an INCREDIBLE amount of slack because of.......well, we know what, but I can't say it for fear of being arrested. They are rank rotten, their finances may well balance, but they appear to have no money to spend. They are starting to turn on you Lenny. And it's fantastic to watch. GoldenBallsrfc 4
was gonna post something along those lines earlier, liewells 29 mill hooper jibe and balance sheets are just papering over the cracks ALSO their own obsession with our tax case is 1 big comfort blanket....when they struggled financially we almost buried them and it shows they are hurting badly that they have been 2nd best the past 3 years! Senna 735
Lennon claimed to be "angry" with his side's display, stating that he had warned his players that they would need to "weather a storm" immediately after the restart. He didn't admit to any failings on his part in terms of his team selection and tactics, notably the persistence with Georgios Samaras. The Greek striker scored both goals when Neil Lennon's side won 2-0 on Jan 2, a performance which earned him a new three-year contract. However, the 26 year-old subsequently missed the 81st-minute penalty in the 0-0 draw at Ibrox on April 24 when a win would have taken the visitors two points clear with five fixtures remaining.Samaras has now scored in three of his last 39 SPL appearances. He is incapable of forming a partnership with Gary Hooper or Anthony Stokes, a substitute in spite of harvesting 22 goals from 33 starts in his 13 months at Parkhead. Papa Sasac 164
I don't think Samaras is that bad. Against us especially, maybe not today but in the past, he wins headers, is quick, can be difficult to deal with for the wing backs.

Mulgrew was hacking all day how the fuck did he not deserve a red? The reason why people hate Neil Lennon, only Neil Lennon would say this. Any other manger would say you can't get away with that sort of thing.
Al Jolson 3
Anyway Lenny, I've had a long day, time for bed now. I'd just like to reflect on 3 (about to be 4) seasons of stupidity from your Club and, in particular, your support who've continually highlighted the financial limitations we've had to work within. They've continually focused on how threadbare our squad is, how you're a better team than us, how we've no money. You've continually picked fights with the SFA, referees, the media, other clubs, other clubs managers and, in your case Lenny, other clubs supporters. Those above you have deflected their shortcomings by, in the first instance, appealing to the lowest common denominator in your support by appointing you as their manager and by continually backing your management style as it covered up their failings. And you, and your support fell for it. You've abused our players, management and belittled our support. You've come out and supported the most moronic captain in the history of your Club. You have, basically, endorsed a 'Buckfast' style of management. And, for me, it's been fantastic.

Any other manger would say you can't get away with that sort of thing. To be fair to the ugly one (don't ask me why I'm being fair, he's a shitebag) he said he didn't think he deserved a second yellow for that particular tackle. He actually addressed the fact that Mulgrew had been asking for trouble all game.I think essentially Lennon, because he's not the sharpest tack in the drawer, is aggrieved that Mulgrew was sent off at that point, even though he should have been sent off earlier. So in actual fact Lennon should be pleased he got so much time out of Mulgrew, who was practically begging to get sent off from the first 20 minutes. papaguy51 912
If I was a tim, I'd smell like poo.But also, if I was a tim, seeing Lennon continually drop the half decent Hooper/Stokes combination at Ibrox for Samaras would infuriate me.Samaras has had one good game at Ibrox and he seems to be picked based on that. minnbear 30
Anyone take notice of goal celebrations ?When we score, Ally runs to celebrate with our sideline players and coaches (hugs all round). When they score, TLRB either tries to have a wind up at us or, it's both hands up in the air to the tarriers with the self important, look at me stare.Fans manager my arse, it's all about him, and sooner or later the deluded will catch on, especially as their results don't match his smugness. He can only deflect their pishness onto his players for so long.Same thing when he goes on the park to them at full time after they have a decent result, is it fuck to praise them, it's for them to praise him.Seemed to have forgot about them today at the final whistle.
