Decided to jump into an FFA match and tbh all i knew was how to aim down sights and shoot, fair enough. First map was Dome. Ended up going 14-26 . Mainly because the wanker that won was spawn camping, he was hiding in a corner and as soon as you re-spawned this piece of knob cheese would kill yu, all he did for the entire match. While i'm running about like a headless chicken he's just camping in the same place shooting at people from the re-spawn point, grr.Anyway i played another FFA and didn't get much better so jumped into a TDM using the Riot Control and started destroying people with the striker, what a beast of a gun that is. Ended up going 8 and 5 so i went positive in my 3rd ever match which i'm pleased about. I prestiged so all my guns are back to normal. Wait until you get the striker with damage! lol, Play kill confirmed! you will rank up quicker and unlock your guns. The only problem i have with this game is the lag at times and the amount of wee arseholes camping.Campers are the worse players on the game. They fucking ruin the game worrying about their KD ratio. Been playing mostly TDM and i'm impressed with how i'm doing, really getting the hang of it. The UMP45 is a beast of a gun, got it levelled upto to Level 19 atm, more or less the only gun i'm using. Have the FMG9 as my secondary but not using it. Also using the Specialist package which i'm loving having all those perks while combing them with Hardline making it way easier to get them. Gonna finish up levelling up my UMP and then i'll use those on my UMP. Currently at Level 28, just need to get 40 kills with Extended Mags and Thermal Vision and then it'll be sweet. Mor3los_1 3,672 Posted December 29, 2011 Author Share Posted December 29, 2011 Really happy with how i'm progressing, going positive in the majority of the TDMs and loving the Specialist strike package, fuck yer UAVs and Helicopters, this is more of a challenge. My current loadout i'm using is:UMP w/ kick and rapid fire (only 1 more level till i have a golden gun)SkorpionExtreme ConditioningHardline ProStalker ProSpecialist (Slight of Hand Pro, Assassin and Marksman)My main problem is i'm too hesitant some times meaning i get riddled with bullets when i could have blown the guys head off.I have a 0.78 kdr and the highest killstreak i've racked up so far is 11 which is impressive for me. Enjoyed our games earlier Ace, didn't have a clue what i was doing to start with though, haha. What is it with WATP members playing Hardcore Ricochet games, lol. The UMP is a great gun for close up action, like all SMG's but aren't designed for that long range work, it all depends on what map you are playing. Something like Seatown or Dome, SMG's are the dogs but on maps like Bakaraa or Mission you need something for longer distance firing. As for us playing hardcore, I think the preference to shoot and kill someone with one or two bullets rather than having to unload an entire clip to even injure the guy. The guys I usually play with aren't actually part of the WATP clan but we have all used the tag for quite a few years now. The mics are great for running abuse and general chat, always good fun.
