j1mgg 3,766
Reading the article this morning on what we supposedly owe and saw a lot of local business on there. Not sure if we can pay them using the RFFF .I don't know if this is allowed or not and if it is already too late but just a thought as we need these business in the future. pcbear 10,924
That would buy goodwill but may well be illegal since the debts are all listed, dunno, good idea though.
AMMS 27
It wouldn't be illegal if the RFFF did it, only if the club did.

Bluedell 14
It's not allowed as we were told that it would not get used to pay creditors, but that didn't stop the guys who run RFFF from doing it before, so who knows what they will decide. Paying the small creditors may not generate enough headlines for them.

54andcounting 627
Don't see why not, remember below:Dunfermline.RFFF chairman Andrew McCormick said: "After some discussion, it was agreed that we should use some of the money collected by our fans to pay off this outstanding debt. GMac 1,405
I suppose the RFF could pay the businesses the money, the businesses then cancel the debt with the club. Nothings gone through the club. Great idea.

dardo54 11
think this is a good idea its a disgrace the way these fraudsters have run our club, would be a start in showing the way we want rangers to be run from now on

caseyjones 3,009
Cynical! I guess thats just a sign of the times - no one gets credit for anything they do - just suspicions re: motivations. He's merely pointing out that the rules that were intimated prior to the cash being sent in, were not adhered to. A real cynic would be someone who thought that the GIRUY administered to Dundee United, and the subsequent back-slapping, was the real motivation for paying Dunfermline their £22k. minstral 5,375
It is disgusting that we have bumped so many people for money. That was never the Rangers way and let us hope that all those people can be paid back once we get on our feet again.
