But while McCoist naturally regrets the rug being pulled from under his men by virtue of the statutory SPL penalty being applied, he believes it would be churlish to argue with the overall composition of the league table.'I think in everybody's eyes they should be seen as worthy champions if they get a point tomorrow,' he said.'We've always said that the best team - 99 times out of 100 (this will be the one then ) - will win the championship. We had many, many hurdles to overcome this year, but we were 15 points clear at one point. Our own sloppyness let Celtic back in with a chance well before admin. We had many, many hurdles to overcome this year, but we were 15 points clear at one point. We were never actually 15 points clear as the dirt had a couple of games in hand. If you think back we dropped 5 points in november and 6 in december and we had several good goals not given and very ropey officiating in general to contend with and that doesnt even take into account the results the beggars were getting. 9 points clear and 3 games we were robbed by refs, they are not worthy to borrow our trophy!
