Surely no one is thinking so some random taig is going to buy us just becasue he is a bitter cunt? £11 million is far too much money for that. There has got to be another reason.

Think its a pisstake myself mate, cant see it going anywhere (tu)

Is there proof that this is alot of shite and that this guy is a taig. Would be good just to show how obsessed and bitter these people really are.

Mckenna has 100% played for Celtic no doubts about it can't post the link cause i'm on a phone but if you look up the teams for Celtic 5 Motherwell 1 phil o'donnell tribute game he came on as a sub. He also replaced Henrik Lardass in the Tommy burns chairty game as well.

NEITHER Phil O'Donnell nor Tommy Burns would have minded that Henrik Larsson stole the show at Celtic Park yesterday.

The two of them looking down would even have expected it.

The Parkhead legend scored with a brilliant acrobatic overhead kick that brought the capacity crowd to their feet then set up a goal with a lovely piece of skill. And all that after cutting his head in the first minute.

No wonder at the age of 37 Larsson will be at the European Championship finals, although it will be slightly more difficult when Brian Martin's not marking you. No offence, Buff.

But not even the King of Kings could overshadow the reason why there had to be an O'Donnell tribute match which, of course, was by the saddest of coincidences a chance to remember Burns.

It was an emotional day in the east end of Glasgow which, while obviously tinged with tragedy, was also enjoyable.

Celtic and Motherwell fans mingled happily and the capacity crowd raised quite a bit of money for good causes and they got to cheer old favourites.

Some of the waistbands had expanded. Some of the hair had either disappeared or turned grey and, astonishingly, Enrico Annoni is better now than when he played for Celtic.

And then there was Larsson. The Swede paid his own tribute to his former team-mate as well as Burns before the match, then turned on the style during the game.

It was a day full of nice touches. David Clarkson wore the No.10 shirt with O'Donnell on the back and James McFadden made a brief cameo at the start with No.11 Cooper on his shirt.

Phil's family were in the crowd and with the songs, banners, the playing of his favourite songs and a big screen showing his greatest moments for both clubs, you could only hope it brought a bit of comfort.

But there is one complaint. It was a wee bit unfair on the Motherwell legends that they were, on average, 10 years older than their opponents, some of whom are still playing. So it was no wonder Celtic ran out easy winners. But how awkward would it have been if Larsson's Euro 2008 hopes had been ended after he got a head cut in the first minute when he jumped for a cross with Chris McCart?

He did make it back out after some treatment but that would have been an interesting call to the Swedish FA.

Celtic fan Stephen McKenna apparently paid £15,000 at Friday night's dinner to honour the 1998 title-winning team to play a part and he wasn't bad at all.

Could green have set this up as he knows what we would think of this bid? Knowing we would think fuck that and get behind him 100% after the Walter bid?

Just a thought but is it that far fetched?
