He was out of contract, and I'm pretty sure with all that's gone on, noone would have spoken to him formally about resigning, especially since it seems interaction between the new guys and the players are kept to a minimal. Add to that the uncertainty to where we are playing next season.He wasn't one of the ones who negotiated a release clause and then fucked us over by leaving for nothing. He paid a little bit of money to come and play for us and wasnt on very much. He did do well and done a lot for our club and injected some excitement into our team. If I remember correctly he paid his transfer fee to the sheep to come and play for us, always gave it 100%, took a pay cut and is leaving on a free.
