Player Watch: Berwick Rangers 1-1 Rangers

[imgleft]http://rangersmedia.co.uk/images/resized/images/wv35berwickvrangers_200_200.jpg[/imgleft]Alexander 7 - Will be disappointed to be beaten from a tight angle but made a stunning save from McLean's late 20 yard drive.

Perry 3 - Pushed out to right back in the absence of Kirk Broadfoot, looked shaky throughout although it is his first game after returning from injury.

Cribari 3 - Gave the Berwick attackers too much time and space and didn't look as comfortable as he did on Tuesday night.

Bocanegra 3 - Still doesn't look as if his heart is in it, don't be surprised if he departs before the transfer window slams shut.

Argyirou 3 - Struggled at left back, a position he is not familar with. He will be disappointed with his debut and didn't bomb down the wing enough.

MacLeod 3 - Failed to emulate his recent performances. Too many slack passes and not enough dangerous through balls to the forwards.

Black 5 - The only player who should be given pass marks. Always looking to make something happen and sprayed the ball about well.

McKay 3 - Starved of possession just as he was on Tuesday night. If he isn't on the ball running at defenders, he isn't effective.

Little 4 - Lack of service meant that he didn't do much, but kept his composure to slam home the opening goal.

McCulloch 3 - Not the usual performance from Jig. Showed great movement to set up Little but missed a great chance in the second half.

Sandaza 3 - Didn't look interested and was frustrated at times. Should have put Rangers ahead immediately after losing the equaliser.

Man of the match - Ian Black.

Ally McCoist's first summer signing impressed once again, and was definitely the best of a bad bunch. He whipped in a clever free kick for the opener, and was unlucky moments before that with a volley that went just wide. Again, he showed a great range of passing and kept things simple in the engine room. Unfortunately, his team-mates couldn't put in a similar level of determination as Black did.

Fucking PISH.

bit harsh on black. Black seems to try to link up the defence to the forwards, he drops deep when the defedners have it, and sits behind the attackers when we have it in the final 3rd.

everyone else done fuck all.

Alexander, Bocanegra & Ross Perry were the main culprits. time and time and time again they just fuckin launched it. are we ever goign to learn to play out from the back and hold on to possession? get with the fuckin times gers.

Not often enough IMO, although it doesn't help when he does come back and Boca tells him to push up. Or Alexander catching the ball and instead of a quick break up the pitch he holds onto it and tells the team to push up before a big punt.

fair enough, but nobody is giving him a hard time for lack of match sharpness or fitness - it's 100% a decision making problem. It may not even be down to the players, could be the management - but our completel and utter inability to pass out from the back is deplorable.

What a bellend

 bellend? the whole team were equaled and in some cases out played by a team of Semi Pro players. There was no passage of play in that game where I went "that was nice..." it was a total smash up all over the place. It was fucking dire. You trying to tell me they deserve more than the 0's a gave them? Well then you sir, are a fucking bellend. Chase yourself.

I'd give Black and Alexander pass marks, the rest, well, can't be fucking bothered actually, just like they weren't fucking bothered, full time professionals with top class facilities, fucking spoiled and over fucking paid, with a shite attitude, they better step up to the mark and play for that Royal Blue jersey or they can fuck off, NOT GOOD ENOUGH!
