El Carpintero 546
Senseless response.(So reasonant of SWSL, Flecky, Jig. Hmmmm)Actually it is spot on. I have no idea what the bottom bit means.
OneDavidCooper 2,505
It's ridiculous to suggest he's not targeted by the opposition.Proof? Just watch our games, you'll see it there.Nonsense.
the goal machine 7,806
Sorry, just don't see it that way. Midfield combatants are going to get hurt. And as far as "the tackle on him today", nothing wrong with it in my opinion. Its all part of the game. I actually didn't think there was a bad tackle in the entire game, despite Burley leading a one man campaign to have MacLeod charged post match. The ref was just fucking incompetent, as most of them are.Agreed.

papaguy51 912
Nonsense. You just criticised someone for a similar response It's his style of play, he'll always be in or around confrontation.
OneDavidCooper 2,505
Elgin played the game in a terrific spirit and yet people want to think a player of ours was being targeted. No wonder the game has gone fucking soft.Nothing better than seeing some near the knuckle challenges. OneDavidCooper 2,505
You just criticised someone for a similar response It's his style of play, he'll always be in or around confrontation. The first sentence is non sensical. The 2nd sentence I agree with 100%
1873bear 192
Someone with either break his leg or destroy his ligaments this season it's a certainty and that wee prick referee almost dislocated his arm as he gave black a yellow for a challenge that never was, the refs have been very bad so far. papaguy51 912
He's a perceived easy target, people go in a wee bit harder on him.I think that's targeted, personally.

Gaz92 966
You think he is a percieved target. You don't think that Black is being targeted, as in "let's have a dig, see how he'll react as we know what he's like"?

To be honest, I've been surprised at the lack of phsicality in the games so far. I thought the opposition would attempt far more digs than they have to-date. Marky. 6,946
He is impeccable. So much better than he gets credit for it's unreal. You are right Jamie, and it's his "short fuse" or the fact he can often put in a tough challenge that people really associate with him. They media all talk about that, and what he's like as a person rather than his skill. They don't pick up on the fact that he has a touch of class about him with the ball at his feet. Got a wicked shot on him and a great passing range. A real football brain, but of course it's his tackling that gets their attention.

Completely wrong footed two defenders.

It's nothing new exactly there's plenty of players in the past that have had similar treatment.

I often am in the minority these days because by fuck the game I knew has changed beyond all recognition.
Sket 13,610
That bastard of a ref couldn't get that yellow card out quick enough. Scandalous considering some of the other, far worse challenges that went unpunished
corkinator 611
The standard of ref wont be helping. That ref today was as bad as i have ever seen.He was truly awful
