haudthebus 49
As McCoist stated "Our training hasn't changed much in the last 30 years". While the rest of football has moved on Ally is telling us we haven't, does he intend to rectify this matter. He should perhaps embrace the top european sides ethos to training and fitness Ronaldo's schedule alone is enough to put the Nando's dandos to shame. Cristiano Ronaldo daily workout routine::: 3 to 4 hours of daily practice that assure a very low body fat level (<10%)::: Several periods of running for state cardio (25-30 mins)::: High intensity and "explosive" sprinting drills (short-period exercises)::: Technical drills to enhance skills and ball control::: Football tactical exercises to improve understanding with teammates::: Gym exercises to develop specific muscles but also his total body strenght

King Jela 20,667
Our training methods definetely need to change but focusing on mainly physical exercises to keep our boys "big and strong" will be a huge part of the problem.

RFC Eagle 4,888
The experts in here have already told you. I'm sure if you message them they'll go into more definitely accurate detail Ally has told us pretty much. If things have hardly changed in 30 years then we have a massive problem. Do you think the regimes at Chelsea, Bayern, Juventus etc etc are much the same? Someone needs to shake up the training at Rangers and if Ally and his staff aren't going to then someone needs to take the difficult decision.
